Today we began our morning right with a Character Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen.  We had so much fun—delicious food, singing and dancing, and appearances from Goofy, Pluto, Alice, Belle and more all added to the excitement.

We then did toured the three Disneyland® Resort Hotels:  Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel, Disneyland® Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa.  Each of these unique properties offers outstanding accommodations, fabulous pool areas, delicious restaurants, and of course, Disney magic throughout!  As an added bonus, exclusive to Disneyland® Resort Hotels, Get Away Today guests staying at any of these properties receive Magic Morning early entries each day of their stay it’s available.  Magic Morning entries are subject to change, but exact days it is offered is available when you check-in.  Plus, when you stay at any of these three hotels for four nights or more by April 30, 2009 you’ll get a FREE $150 Disney Resort Gift Card!

After touring these hotels, we were treated to lunch at Mimi’s Café, located across the street from the Disneyland® Resort main entrance by our contact at the Howard Johnson.  We then broke up into two groups to begin our hotel tours.

The first group went on a walking tour of the properties along Harbor Boulevard, all within walking distance to the Main Gate.  The Howard Johnson Maingate, Anaheim Fairfield by Marriott, Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites, Tropicana Inn & Suites, Del Sol Inn, Best Western Park Place, Best Western Anaheim Inn, Ramada Inn MainGate, Castle Inn, Ramada Plaza Hotel, and Holiday Inn Express Maingate all offer convenient and comfortable accommodations.  Each year our hotel partners do more and more to improve their properties.

The second group visited Portofino Inn & Suites, Sheraton Park Hotel, Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott Hotel, Clarion Hotel, Cortona Inn & Suites, Anaheim Courtyard by Marriott, Doubletree Guest Suites, and Comfort Inn Anaheim Maingate.  Once again, our group was so impressed with the quality and care offered to our guests staying at these hotels.

After our hotels wrapped up (around 5p.m.) we were on our own to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort.  Some of our group headed straight to Disneyland®, while others spent some time at Disney’s California Adventure® Park before heading over to Disneyland®.  A small group even attended an NHL hockey game at the Honda Center and cheered on the Ducks!  A fabulous time was had by all.
