Our Last Day in Sunny Southern California

For our seventh and final day in Southern California, we packed our things and said good-bye to the Disneyland® Resort.  We headed back up to Buena Park where we toured the Courtyard Buena Park and then the Holiday Inn Buena Park where we had a lovely breakfast.  Both of these properties offer incredibly comfortable accommodations in a very convenient location, especially for those looking to visit both the Disneyland® Resort, Knott’s Berry Farm, and even Knott’s Soak City.  They’re also only a few steps away from Medieval Times and the Pirate Adventure Dinner, which offer a complete dining/entertainment experience.

We then headed north to Universal Studios Hollywood– The Entertainment Capital of L.A. where we experienced action packed shows and attractions, including the new Simpsons Ride!  This newest attraction takes you on a 4-D adventure through Krustyland where you’ll experience a truly wild ride.  We had a blast!  Some of our staff’s other favorite attractions include Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4-D and the Universal Studios Backlot Tour.  Although part of the tour was destroyed by fire last year, you would never know it based on this experience.  Scenes from some of the most famous movies of all time come to life right in front of your very eyes.  It is definitely not an experience to be missed.

After a long day of fun and sun, we headed to the airport in Long Beach to catch our flight home.  Keep checking our blog for more information about what we learned on our trip.  We hope this was helpful to you and inspires you to take your “FAM” to San Diego and the Disneyland® Resort for your own adventure!
