Today is the day that Summer Nightastic! officially kicks off at the
Disneyland® Resort! This means that summertime fun is at an all-new and all-time high at
Disneyland® Park,
Disney's California Adventure® Park, and the Downtown Disney District. Here is a recap of the just some of the nighttime magic you'll experience this summer at the
Disneyland® Resort:
Enhanced “Fantasmic!”:
Watch in awe as Fantasmic! ignites the night with awesome new, lifelike
creatures—like a 40 ft.-tall, fire-breathing dragon—and amazing HD
animation that practically leaps off the giant mist screens! You won't believe your eyes at this completely rejuvenated family favorite nighttime show. Because this show is so popular, we recommend getting a seat at least 45 minutes to an hour before showtime. If you can't make it to the first showing, there is normally a second (and less crowded) show on busier nights.
“Magical” Fireworks Spectacular:
Celebrate Disney “magic makers” with Magical, a breathtaking, all-new
fireworks spectacular. Bursts of vivid color and brilliant visual
effects dance in the sky as beloved Disney songs fill the air. Because
the fireworks are possibly the most popular "show" at the
Disneyland®
Resort, you'll want to arrive early for a great seat in front of the
castle. Cast members are generally on site directing crowds and
monitoring seating areas. We highly recommend arriving 1-2 hours
before the fireworks start for prime seating. Plan on grabbing some dinner and having a picnic with your family to save a spot.
Disney’s Electrical Parade: Brighten your night with a more-dazzling-than-ever Disney's Electrical Parade, led by Tinker Bell in a brand-new scene. Two classic scenes will also be making their triumphant return in this nostalgic classic. Because this parade winds through the streets of
Disney's California Adventure® Park later in the evening, you'll want to plan on catching Fantasmic and the fireworks on a different night.
Pixie Hollow Enchantment:
Follow the twinkling trail to Pixie Hollow, where every 15 minutes
Tinker Bell and her Disney Fairy friends unite their hidden talents in
a sparkling, twinkling light show.
Celebrate! A Street Party: Be sure to catch Celebrate! A Street Party on Main Street in
Disneyland®
Park. This new high-energy parade celebrates life’s special
moments and will have your family dancing in the streets afternoon and night!
TLT Dance Club: Get
your party on at the TLT Dance Club, presented by Coca-Cola and
Verizon. From sundown to Park closing, seven nights a week,
Tomorrowland is home to one of the summer’s hottest dance clubs—hosted
by local radio DJs on weekdays, and featuring live bands on the
weekends! You can literally dance 'till you drop at this all day and night party.
