Las Vegas Dining Hot Spots

There are many reasons to visit Las Vegas, but the tastiest by far is the collection of delicious restaurants, bars, diners, bistros, and cafes.  Many of these restaurants are located in hotels on The Strip.  For a food adventure you can restaurant hop between the hotels, or even stay at one of the hotel and casinos which offer a number of fine dining restaurants (and many do) and hit them all. Here are some of our top recommendations for the best places to eat in Las Vegas:

Bellagio – Jean Philippe

One of the must-see culinary attractions in Las Vegas is the largest chocolate fountain in the world at the Jean Philippe Patisserie. Shortly after winning the title of Best Pastry Chef in France, Jean Philippe Maury brought his passion for pastry to the Bellagio Hotel. He currently oversees this pastry shop that is a favorite for any foodie visiting The Strip because of its beautiful, delicious, and surprisingly affordable treats.

Caesar's Palace – Mesa Grill

Southwestern flavors abound at Food Network Star Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. Located inside Caesar's Palace, the menu at Mesa Grill boasts specialties such as Mango and Spice Crusted Tuna Steak and Ancho Chile-Honey Glazed Salmon. Finish your meal with Chocolate Corn Bread Pudding or the Dessert Sampler to be treated to a variety of flavors sure to satisfy.

MGM Grand – Emeril's New Orleans Fish House

The best of Cajun and Creole flavors can be found inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino at Emeril's New Orleans Fish House. Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse brings the flavors of New Orleans to this Las Vegas restaurant, offering such dishes as New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp, Herb, Sea Salt & Pepper Crusted Ahi Tuna, and Tamarind Glazed Slow Cooked Pork Medallions. Their signature Banana Cream Pie with Banana Crust, Chocolate Shavings and Caramel Sauce is one dessert you will not want to miss.

Mandalay Bay – China Grill

For a taste of Asia, all you need is to step over the glass bridge into China Grill at Mandalay Bay. Lobster Pancakes, Grilled Szechuan Beef, Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Garlic Shrimp, and Spicy Beef & Scallion Dumplings all combine traditional Asian cuisine with new age flare. The Classics Tasting Menu will treat you to each of those dishes and more.

Caesar's Palace – Rao's

Any foodie knows that to get in to the original Rao's in New York without owning one of the tables is impossible. Inside Caesar's Palace Hotel and Casino, however, you can easily get reservations to one of the best Italian restaurants on this side of the Atlantic. Rao's Las Vegas has two ten-table rooms that duplicate the original restaurant, a “feast” dining area and the outdoor patio for poolside dining. Try one of their many dishes that have been passed on from generation to generation, such as the Pollo alla Cacciatore (Chicken Cacciatore) or the Scaloppine alla Romana (Veal Scaloppine).

Many of these and other area restaurants offer a pre-fixe or tasting menus so you can sample the finest cuisine for discount or fixed prices. We recommend taking advantage of these menus for the best value. We also, of course, highly recommend booking your hotel with Get Away Today.  We offer the best price and best service on your Las Vegas vacation, guaranteed!
