We absolutely love hearing your Get Away Today vacation stories and memories.  Here's what one special grandma wrote about taking her grandson on his first trip to the Disneyland® Resort this summer.  We're sure this vacation was full of memories that will last a lifetime for both of them:

"I booked my recent Disneyland Resort Vacation through your company, we traveled June 15-19, 2009.

I took my grandson with me on this trip. It was his first trip to Disneyland, and I wanted to make it perfect for him. We stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn & Suites. I was very pleased with the hotel; it was very clean, had the perfect sized pool for kids, and also a spa. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helped me with everything I needed. Your description of this hotel said it was right across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland, and it was. We were right at the stop light where everyone crossed to go to the park.

While we were at Disneyland my grandson got picked to participate in the Jedi Knight training, I have attached a picture of him and his battle. I think this was one of the highlights of his trip.

We also purchased tickets for the Pirate Dinner Adventure in Buena Park through your company, and had a great time. They put on a good show, the dinner was good and they also provided appetizers. I have also attached a copy of a picture with my grandson and our Purple Pirate Saxon.

On our last day at Disneyland, my grandson told me "Grandma I feel like I am in a dream." I asked him if it was because he was on that vacation, and he smiled and said "Yes." That made it all worthwhile to me, and I know he will always remember this trip.
