One unique aspect of the Bahia Resort Hotel is that it has partnered with SeaWorld San Diego and is home to two harbor seals. Gracie and Billy are both rescued seals that provide guests the opportunity to get up close and personal to local marine life. Wednesday-Sunday now through Labor Day. These interactive classes are geared towards children ages 5-12 and are available for only $3/child per session. It's the perfect way for your kids to explore while you get some much needed R&R.
Kids will also love the exotic birds that make their home at the Catamaran Resort. These feathered friends perform at 3:00pm each day in the free bird show.
Another not-to-miss event at the Catamaran Resort Hotel is the Summer Sunset Luau. This annual seasonal annual event is currently taking place on the grounds every Friday from now until September 4, 2009. Guests are admitted as early as 6:00pm and entertainment and a full Polynesian buffet begins at 7:00pm. Polynesian music and dance fill the evening which culminates in a breathtaking fire dance performance.
