Sea World San Diego’s traveling team of representatives and animal trainers dropped by the office today with a few of their critter companions to fill us in on what’s in store this year! 2010 is jam-packed with special seasonal events and celebrations, including the highly anticipated all new bird and dolphin show
Blue Horizons. Before updating us on the latest happenings, a colorful array of Sea World’s star animals strutted their stuff around the office and helped promote Sea World’s mission of conservation. Special guests included:
- Dennis Hopper, the red kangaroo
- Steve, the African bullfrog (also known as a “pixie frog”)
- Monkey, Stanley, and Squeaker, the Australian coral billed parrots
- Cruiser, the scarlet macaw, and Captain, the military macaw
- Bakari, the black and white ruffed lemur
Get Away Today employees and their families enjoyed an afternoon of animal antics as children chased the seven month old “Dennis Hopper” around the office, felt the wind on their faces while lying on the ground as a black vulture swooped over, and ran their fingers through lemur fur. After the “monkey business” was over we learned about the SeaWorld’s seasonal highlights that are starting now with "Spring into Night.” Check out all the ways you can make a splash out SeaWorld!

Clyde & Seamore’s Trick or Treat shows. Wandering costumed “sea creatures,” haunted cookie decorating, and in-costume trick-or-treating for kids complete a ghoulishly good time.
