Walt Disney World ® in Orlando, Florida has 4 fabulous “value” resorts each with its own theme: Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. These value resorts are an excellent way to stay on Disney property while in Florida and stay within your budget.
One of the greatest benefits of staying on Disney property is the transportation. The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is unbelievably large, more than 40 square miles large in fact. (FYI, that is about the size of San Francisco!) Getting from park to park or from your hotel to the park is not quite as convenient as we are accustomed to in California. Because of Disney World's size, the parks and your hotel can actually be miles apart. It is so nice to go out of the hotel and catch a complimentary shuttle that will take you to any of the theme parks, water parks or hotels within Walt Disney World without having to worry about directions.
Another benefit of staying at a Disney property is the extra magic hours at the park. Throughout the week each park has either early entry in the morning or extra hours at the end of the day. AWESOME!
At each of the value properties there is a zero-entry pool, heated to 80 degrees, that blends into the theme of that particular resort. Each property also has a quick service dining option, gift shop and arcades.
Each of the Disney World Value Resorts has a unique theme to add to the excitement of your vacation.
Disney's All-Star Movie Resort immerses you in an undeniably "Disney" experience with their classic Disney movies theme. Highlights include the Toy Story area, Fantasia area, Love Bug, Mighty Ducks and 101 Dalmatians. The cinematic scene is carried through to their two pools, including one themed after Disney's classic
Fantasia. This resort is close to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
Disney's All-Star Music Resort offers "tunes" of a different with Broadway show tunes, calypso, country, jazz, and rock & roll creating an atmosphere of non-stop fun. This resort is also located near Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Two specially themed pools, one shaped as a guitar, the other a piano, are sure to strike a chord with guests young and old.
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort offers grand slam fun and excitement by surrounding you in all things sports related from baseball and basketball, to football, surfing, and tennis. Be sure to dive into their two pools, including the baseball diamond shaped pool where Goofy takes the pitcher's mound and squirts a fountain of water at swimmers. This resort is also near Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
Travel through time at the Disney's Pop Century Resort and experience the best of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and the 90’s with larger than life iconic images, words, and more. This resort is located near the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Three swimming pools, plus the Goofy Kiddie Spray Area will guarantee your stay is a splash.
