Georgia- Thanks for your comments. The tickets mentioned in this blog are for Sea World San Diego, which are different from the Sea World Orlando tickets. The $5 Kids Tickets at both Sea World San Diego and Sea World Orlando are only good for one day for either park, so they are a great option if you're only spending one day at Sea World. The other benefit to this ticket, is that the child age is 3-12, in stead of 3-9 (Sea World's regular child age requirement.) In order to qualify for the $5 ticket, you must purchase a full price 1-day Sea World adult ticket and it can NOT be combined with any other promotion. Sea World has decided to run this offer to raise awareness for their Sea World Cares program which funds their conservation efforts. If you do use this ticket offer, you'll be able to specify which conservation effort you'd like your $5 ticket to be applied to. You are correct that if you're planning on going for more than one day, this isn't the best ticket option for you. If you're planning on spending more than one day at Sea World, both Sea World San Diego and Sea World Orlando are offering Adults at Kids' Prices on their multi-day tickets. Sea World Orlando is offering a 2nd day free, making their tickets an average of $36.72/person per day. Sea World San Diego is offering 7 Days for the Price of 1, which breaks out to be $8.43/person per day if you use all 7 days. If you were to go to the gate and purchase your tickets there, you would pay full price and may not be able to take advantage of the multi-day specials. I called Seaworld and they said the Child tickets DO NOT get the 2nd day free - so it is a terrible deal!!!!!! For a family of 4 if you want to go two days it COSTS MORE (2 x 80(Orland price) + 2 x 5) = 170 and then 2 more tickets at 70 for the kids second day at 140 for a total of 310 DOLLARS, unless you get the regular tickets for everyone at 70 bucks (Orlando price) apiece to begin with which is the everyday price anyway. (4 x 70 = 280) The bean counters should be commended for their GOUGING. This way they get a family of 4 into the park for 170 bucks. Using the regular ole tickets and going two days is an average of 140 a day. This is a marketing TRICK - a PERCEIVED value. This should be getting TERRIBLE reviews - it does for me.
