For today's blog we thought we'd do something a little different... Here is a brief video series that I put together while I was in
Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. Las Vegas is a perfect vacation destination because there is so much to see and do, it's all close together, and a lot of it is free! Everything in these videos was shot at the Bellagio Hotel, which offers so many free and fun things all in one spot! Find Get Away Today's Las Vegas tips on where to find a perfect lunch spot with
the best view of the Bellagio fountains, watch an entire performance of
the Bellagio fountains, view the seasonal Bellagio gardens and more in
these short videos.
This first video shows a view of the Bellagio water fountains from Todd English's Olives restaurant inside the Bellagio. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Las Vegas, and if you get there early enough, there's no wait for patio seating with perfect Bellagio fountain views. If you're going to eat at Olives at night, you'll want to make a reservation, and you'll need to mention specifically that you want patio seating while making your reservation. Sometimes you'll even wait for patio seating with a reservation, which is why we normally go for lunch. Regardless of when you decide to eat at Olives, I highly recommend ordering their flatbread. The fig and prosciutto flatbread is to die for!
This next video is the entire water fountain show set to Elvis Presley's "Viva Las Vegas." Because you're so close to the action, the music is a little hard to hear in the video. The music is much more audible when you're there in person.
You don't have to be an art lover to appreciate this next video, although if you are an art lover, the name Dale Chihuly will mean something to you. This world famous artist created Fiori de Como, a one-of-a-kind permanent installation of over 2,000 hand blown glass flowers for the Bellagio Hotel lobby.
These next two videos highlight the Bellagio gardens.
And saving the best for last... dessert! Check out the World's Largest Chocolate Fountain and the delectable delicacies available at the Jean Philippe Patisserie inside the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
Summer is an especially great time to
visit Las Vegas because you can find a lot of amazing hotel and vacation deals.
