And that's exactly what we did when my cousin remarried several weeks ago and we traveled there for the wedding. Having a tight vacation schedule, we opted to spend one long day at Epcot.
We couldn't have timed our arrival better. On Monday, October 11, 2010, we enjoyed Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival, which only takes place for a few weeks each fall. This unexpected hit made a lasting impression. Imagine the ease of walking up to little kiosk food stations scattered throughout the park representing nearly every country, then for as little as $2-$5, sampling fresh, delicious miniature meals.
We
savored everything from Argentine empanadas, Moroccan beef pita sandwiches, and barbecue corn dishes from Chile called pastel de choclo, to oh-so-yummy ice cream from France and crab cakes representing the U.S.A.
The drinks and freezes available were a welcome treat for my party; the day was hot and cool beverages and treats really hit the spot.

—don't forget to purchase an Epcot meal plan at the ticket booth. We decided to try this at the last minute. This convenient option made sampling food from Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival, or any other restaurant at Epcot, a breeze. For added convenience, every so often you can put more money back on your Disney World food card while purchasing food at the kiosk stations.
