On June 18, Turtle Reef, SeaWorld’s brand new exhibit dedicated entirely to sea turtles, will open its doors and welcome guests for the first time. Over 60 turtles make their home in the 300,000 gallon saltwater aquarium that replaces Manatee Rescue. Guests can get up close for a nose to nose view of these majestic creatures through a huge underwater viewing window. This is the world’s largest exhibit dedicated entirely to endangered or threatened sea turtles. And that’s just the beginning of the fun! Check out other Turtle Reef highlights:

Trace real rescued turtles in real time with TurtleLink, an exhibit that puts cutting edge conservation technology in your hands. Track these turtles across the world and learn about SeaWorld’s conservation efforts in saving these incredible species.

Riptide Rescue, a new family friendly attraction, will send riders on a “turtle rescue mission” in open air spinning boats and is sure to provide a thrill to both young and old.

The interactive Race to the Beach motion activated video game puts you in the middle of the action as you try to help turtles avoid obstacles as they make their way from the shore to the surf, all played out on a massive screen.

This summer you can also catch SeaWorld Summer Nights, with Shamu Rocks, Clyde and Seamore Tonite, fireworks, the all new One Ocean Shamu show, and more!
