Walt Disney World ® Resort vacation, Epcot is the place to be this September 30 (tomorrow!) through November 13 for the annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. During this popular special
event, epicurean delights from around the world await sampling, and three new marketplaces—Hawaii, Portugal, and the Caribbean—will add even more flair to the cosmopolitan dining scene that features 29 international kiosks this year.
Festival highlights include the all-new The Discovery of Chocolate where, under the tutelage of a professional chocolatier, attendees can learn the art of pairing mouthwatering chocolate with various dishes and beverages.
Andrew Zimmern of the Travel Channel’s
Bizarre Foods, as well as Bryan Voltaggio and Chris Cosentino of Bravo’s
Top Chef will amp up the family fun as they, alongside their own kids, whip up dishes sure to please everyone’s taste buds during the Magic of Healthy Living Dinner.
Keep your eyes open for some new “scentsational” seminars that will focus on the enjoyment of food primarily through the sense of smell. A perfume expert will guide guests through a luncheon focusing on food and scent featuring synthetic version of food scents before chefs present the real deal.
A host of other delicious demonstrations, seminars, book signings, and other happenings are also scheduled during the festival. Most events require reservations and a separate admission charge, so plan ahead to ensure you’ll be able to taste the best of the Festival!
