Disney’s new, highly acclaimed Hawaiian Resort, Aulani, has been making a splash with guests since its opening in August, and it’s easy to see why! Here is the first of several articles we will feature highlighting the endless fun under the sun found at Aulani. Here is an overview on the beach and poolside fun awaiting you:

Beach Daze
Ko Olina’s white sandy shores become the ultimate playground for Aulani guests. Gentle ocean waves will lull beach goers as they float and swim in the beautiful waters of Oahu’s leeward side. Borrow complimentary beach chairs from the hotel, and rent umbrellas, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and more for a perfect day at the beach. The beachfront One Paddle, Two Paddle restaurant offers quick bites to fill you up. Check out their menu of freshly made sandwiches, wraps, desserts and more.

It’s hard to imagine wanting to ever leave the beach, but if you do, the hotel itself offers an endless array of exciting activities:

Party Poolside
Waikolohe Pool, an 8,200 square foot zero entry pool, guarantees fun for the entire family. Fill that need for speed on the Volcanic Vertical tunnel slide. Teens and tweens will love the themed parties just for them. Keep your eyes open for your favorite Disney Characters who are known to join in the poolside fun!

Waikolohe Stream offers two tubing adventures—one offering white water excitement, the other a peaceful glide around Aulani’s lush grounds.

Four whirlpool spas invite you to sink into relaxation. Catch the sunset from two of these spas to up the level of tranquility. Another tip for finding a respite of quiet indulgence–take a dip it the Wailana Pool to escape the hustle and bustle of the main pool.

Your keiki (children) will love the Menehune Bridge where they can discover the legends of Hawaii’s mischievous little people as they climb through this oversized play area.

Under the Sea Fun
Stingrays fill the waters of the Makai Preserve and for an extra fee and with prior reservations, you can jump in for an encounter guided by marine biologists.

Rainbow Reef lets you get up close to marine life in the only private snorkeling lagoon on Oahu. Come nose to nose with angel fish, butterfly fish, tang, and more exotic species.

And that’s just the beginning! Keep checking back for more information on the hottest new Hawaiian Resort. You can book your Aulani vacation online or by calling our reservation agents at 800.523.6116.
