Yesterday was the third day of the Get Away Today FAM Trip, and it was another busy one.
Our reservation specialists began their day at the
Anabella Hotel, where they were treated to a leisurely breakfast before starting a day full of site inspections (aka hotel tours).

Our agents took a lunch break hosted by the
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, located just a couple of blocks from the
Disneyland ® Resort. In addition to comfortable accommodations, the
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites offers free breakfast exclusively for Get Away Today guests, plus offers Kids Eat Free for lunch and dinner! It's a fantastic value.
Now, no FAM Trip would be complete without a good elevator scare... it's just what happens when you pile too many people into an elevator! The excitement of getting stuck in an elevator happened at one of our hotels during the hustle and bustle of the day. Here is a shot (see left) of our agents as they patiently waited to be rescued. The chances of something like this happening to you on your vacation are pretty slim... unless you decide to pack 17 of your closest family members and friends into a single elevator. (We don't recommend it.)
As with any good FAM Trip, our agents are always moving and spent the afternoon touring more of our awesome hotel partners. One fun surprise for our agents and management team was seeing the "Welcome Get Away Today Guests" sign that our guests see when they check-in at the
Clarion Hotel. It sure made us feel welcome!

Our agents concluded their work day at the
Cortona Inn & Suites, where they enjoyed a reception just for our agents after a tour of their hotel. Because of its convenient location, in-room amenities (i.e. microwave and fridge), complimentary continental breakfast, and selection of comfortable guest rooms, the
Anaheim Cortona Inn & Suites is a Get Away Today guest favorite.
After a day of so much fun, our agents were ready for more! With their free time, some agents headed to Downtown Disney for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, while a group of the guys headed to ESPN Zone for a night of sports and good food. Another group ran to
Disneyland ® Park to get in a few rides before heading back to the
Disneyland ® Hotel where they were able to soak in the new hot tub at the E-Ticket Pool that opened yesterday! After testing out the new pool area for themselves, our agents highly recommend it!
All in all, it was a super fun, busy, and informative day for our agents. Our agents will be back in the office next Monday, but that doesn't mean you have to wait to book your vacation.
