Knott's Berry Farm during her first visit to "America's 1st Theme Park."
"During the FAM trip we visited most of the parks that Get Away Today offers. It was such a blast, and I am so happy I was able to experience such an amazing work trip. We learned so much about everything we offer. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Legoland, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and Knott's Berry Farm. Out of all of those I would have to say my favorite was Knott's Berry Farm.
It was incredible, I went there not knowing exactly what to expect, but it was so much fun! If you like roller coasters this is the place for you. I rode on some of the funnest rides I have ever been on; there were no lines, and they have really good chicken, as funny as that sounds. When we were there we got the VIP experience, so we were able to jump to the front of the line, and if we liked the ride all we had to do was put a thumbs up and we were able to stay on for another time around. It was really cool, but honestly the lines were not bad anyway. It was such a fun atmosphere, they even had Snoopy dressed up and walking around.
I think Knott's Berry Farm is incredibly overlooked. It is only 15 minutes away from Disneyland, and has a really good dinner show located right next to it called Medieval Times. There you can have a dinner and watch knights on horses jousting and fighting; it's fun for the whole family! I know without a doubt on my next trip to California, I will be visiting Knott's Berry Farm. It is my new favorite park!"
