January 9 – March 2, 2012: Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel pool deck closure
Disney’s Paradise Pier ™ Hotel’s swimming pool and spa will be closed from January 9 through March 2, 2012 for scheduled maintenance. During this time, the guests’ room key will be programmed for access to pools at the
Disneyland ®Hotel. The newly renovated pool area at the Disneyland Hotel includes the E-Ticket and D-Ticket pools, as well as the Monorail pool & slides, Minnie Spa and Mickey Spa.
January 23 – February 17, 2012: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel ® & Spa Redwood Pool closure
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel ® & Spa’s Redwood Pool and Slide will be closed from January 23 through February 17, 2012 for scheduled maintenance. The Fountain Pool & Spa and Mariposa Pool will remain open during this time.
January 27-29, 2012: Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland ® Resort
The Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend will take place January 27 - 29, 2012. On Sunday, January 29th, the Tinker Bell Half Marathon will take runners on a 13.1-mile course through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks and pass by several Anaheim landmarks. Street closures in the
Disneyland ® Resort area are expected for the event. The Tinker Bell Half Marathon is sold out.
And don’t forget—guests checking in at the
Hotels of the Disneyland ® Resort from January 4 – February 29, 2012 will receive a
Disney's FastPass® card (for each registered guest, age 3 and older, per stay)! The
FastPass® card will be redeemable at two (2) FastPass® attractions. FastPass attractions include:
