Excitement is in the air in Fantasyland at the Disneyland ® Resort as a new live entertainment experience prepares to debut in the summer of 2013. In preparation for the new show, Princess Fantasy Faire will be closing its doors on August 12. You can still meet and greet your favorite Disney Princesses along the path to “it’s a small world” from August 13 up until next spring, where they will take up residence at the beautiful new Fantasy Faire that will open next to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

While details are few right now, as the new show is still in the planning stages, one thing is guaranteed—it is sure to be a magical production you won’t want to miss!

Those who love the Disney Princesses will definitely want to check out the other meet-and-greet experiences in Fantasyland, where your little princess’s dreams can come true.
  • Merida, the fiery redhead from Disney-Pixar’s latest hit Brave greets guests at the Fairytale garden, with the trio of wee troublemaking bear cubs by her side.
  • Tinker Bell and her fairy friends invite you to enter their enchanted realm as you magically “shrink” to fairy size and learn about life in Pixie Hollow.
  • While in Fantasyland, be sure to meet Rapunzel (and her hair!) from Disney’s Tangled. Also be on the lookout for the dashing Flynn Rider who makes appearances throughout the day. Rapunzel's room is between Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Village Haus in Fantasyland.
  • Ariel's Grotto serves up royal feasts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with all of your favorite Princesses over in Disney California Adventure Park.  This popular Disney Character Dining experience offers your family one-on-one time with a cast of rotating princesses including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Belle, and more - all while you're dining on delicacies fit for your little princess.

Make sure you have your cameras ready—these meet and greet experiences will make some of the most memorable photos from your Disneyland ® Resort vacation! You can also take advantage of Disney PhotoPass Service, which is available at many of these and other meet-and-greets. You can read more about Disney PhotoPass+by clicking here.
