With so many things happening at Disneyland there's never been a time when you'll want to be as close to the magic as now! Out of all of the Disney owned hotels, Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel is the newest one after being completely reimagined in 2024.

When choosing a Disneyland Resort property you have three onsite options to choose from:

This article reviews Pixar Place Hotel which falls under the Deluxe category. Below we’ll discuss our favorite things about the reimagined property along with everything you need to know to decide if it is right for you.

Stay on the west side of Disneyland Resort only steps away from all the fun at the Disneyland Resort. You’ll have easy access to California Adventure Park via a private entrance for guests of Pixar Place Hotel as well as quick entry into Downtown Disney District.

Disney's Pixar Place Hotel is close to the I-5 Freeway. This makes getting to any nearby attractions a breeze. You're about 15 minutes to Knott's Berry Farm, or about 20 minutes to the beach. You're also in a convenient location to head south to LEGOLAND, San Diego area attractions or stay local in Orange County.

Pixar Place Hotel Rooms

Colorful, bright and vibrant new artwork and premium amenities have all been added to enhance your stay at Pixar Place.

There are several different room and view types you can choose from:
  • 2 Queen Room with couch pull down twin bed. Sleeps up to five guests. Views include Standard or California Adventure Park View.
  • 1 King Room. Sleeps up to two guests. Views include Standard or California Adventure Park View.

Each room has a small refrigerator to store snacks and drinks as well. We absolutely love the refreshed look and feel of the space at Pixar Place Hotel and we think you will too.

Most rooms have a walk in shower with no bathtub, so be aware of that when booking with little ones who prefer baths to showers.

Pixar Place Hotel Pools & Amenities

Get ready to dive into the fun at the hotel’s new “Finding Nemo” themed splash pad and pool area. This rooftop oasis features Pixel Pool, which is lined with relaxing loungers, along with Nemo’s Cove pop-jet splash pad, and Crush’s Surfin’ Slide! The 186-foot-long water slide is tons of fun for the family.

There’s also plenty of space to relax, play and dine on the rooftop area. There’s a play court and pool bar, plus views of Disneyland fireworks are just outside your hotel room door. Everything has a touch of Pixar fire pits inspired by some of Pixar’s more hot headed characters like Jack-Jack from Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and Anger from Pixar’s “Inside Out.”

An all-new menu at the rooftop pool bar —Small Bytes serves up salads, wraps, assorted cheese plates and more which you can enjoy with signature beverages poolside.

You can also shop at ​​the gift shop STOR-E on the main lobby level which features Pixar-themed apparel and toys, plus more Disneyland Resort souvenirs and sundries.

If you want to get in some exercise beyond the theme parks, join Mike and Sulley running on a treadmill (mural-style), along with free weights and more, all complimentary for guests of Pixar Place.

Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel Dining

New dining is on site at Pixar Place starting with Great Maple with a menu full of upscale comfort food for breakfast (served all day), lunch and dinner. Choose from delicious dishes like Cajun Shrimp & Cheddar Biscuit Benedict, Soda Pop-Braised Baby Back Ribs, Charred Cauliflower Hummus, Maple Pecan-Crusted Salmon, Market Fish, a variety of inspired salads, and my favorite, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Maple Bacon Doughnuts!

Sketch Pad Café offers grab-and-go coffee, assorted pastries and a selection of coffee and tea.
