UPDATED FEBRUARY 2024. Love is in the air and if you're planning a romantic escape to the Happiest Place on Earth, we have some suggestions on where to stay. The Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to celebrate with your Prince or Princess and we'd love to help!

Check out our picks for the 10 most romantic hotels near Disneyland.

Romantic Stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa - This hotel is the perfect place for a relaxed, romantic vacation. Cuddle up next to the warm fireplace in the grand lobby, book a spa treatment for two at Tenaya Stone Spa.

We also suggest making a reservation for the award-winning Napa Rose restaurant right on sight at the Grand Californian.

If you’d like to book a stay at the Grand Californian, it has a very limited number of guest rooms with a king bed so booking early is always a smart option. Please know that all requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Classic Romance at the Disneyland Hotel

If there's anything that says "Happily Ever After," it's staying at the Disneyland Hotel with its magical touches including a musical headboard featuring Sleeping Beauty Castle lit up by fireworks.

For a romantic evening, take a stroll into Downtown Disney and choose from one of many full service restaurants. Also, please note that like Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guest rooms with king beds are limited at the Disneyland Hotel. Requests can be made at the time of booking, but are not guaranteed.

Romantic Stay at JW Marriott Anaheim Resort

Unpretentious yet romantic with a casual, elegant style, the new AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort offers a luxury escape just steps from the Disneyland Resort and GardenWalk- Anaheim’s emerging entertainment and dining epicenter. We also love the oversize tubs in each room, the Parkestry Rooftop Bar for evening sunsets and drinks or strolling the Secret Butterfly Garden.

Located across from Disney California Adventure Park, the Westin Anaheim Resort is the perfect hotel for a couples getaway. This new hotel is within walking distance to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Plus, you can enjoy amenities like a rooftop fireworks view, multiple restaurants, a pool, fitness center and more.

We recommend booking a theme park view room so you can enjoy the romantic night lights of California Adventure Park each evening.

We also love the many onsite dining options including ones our team personally recommend:

  • Tangerine Room
  • RISE Rooftop Lounge
  • Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
  • Puesto

We particularly enjoy Puesto, especially on Taco Tuesday nights!
