The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is always on my must-do list when I visit San Diego. There is nothing else like it. I love the feeling of being on a safari on the Africa Tram and the Cheetah Run is one of the coolest things I've even seen. Well, the Safari Park just got even cooler with the opening of a new exhibit, Tiger Trails - a journey to Sumatra.

Families will be able to get close to these majestic cats on the Log Walk. You'll be transported to the island of Sumatra as you traverse a log bridge to get to giant viewing windows. You can also watch the tigers above and below water in special viewing areas by a deep pool. Get a sneak peak at what to expect in this fun video:

Tiger Trails also features a hillside trail featuring a waterfall with awesome views of the tigers, a longhouse that you can explore and Tiger Trail Pondok, where you'll be able to visit with a conservation volunteer.

Be sure to make the San Diego Zoo Safari Park a part of your San Diego vacation! Our discounted hotel and attraction tickets will help you save the most. Book online or call our vacation experts at 855-GET-AWAY.
