Fabulous Location
This hotel was in a great location! Staying in the middle of Old Town San Diego was so fun! We were close to delicious restaurants, fun shops, and lots to do! This hotel was great, we were well taken care of and were very impressed!
Room smelled like Body Odor and Bed was horrible
Upon arrival the outside looked amazing. Once I entered the first room the overwhelming smell of body order hit you in the face like someone had punched you in it. When I called down to the reception desk, they asked if I would like some spray. I asked for another room. Once I made it back to the reception desk, I learned that I was not the only person who complained about the smell and was told by the manager that the air filters in the A/C units needed to be replaced. Once I got to room #2, the smell was better, but no other rooms were available so I spent a week, smelling a gross body odor smell every time the A/C kicked on. This was 1 of many issues that we had and I will not be staying at Hilton Hotels in the future.
beautiful grounds
I loved this hotel, it was new and shiny :) The staff were very friendly and helpful with my questions. The beds were comfy and the room was well furnished with modern touches. The bathroom was awesome , very trendy with a great large shower. The hotel was very close to Old Town and both the I-8 and the I-5. The food in the on site restaurant was great also. My only complaint was the towels were very rough and the pillow cases were quite wrinkled , So there seems to be a laundry issue here.
Nice cozy hotel!!
We stayed at this hotel when we planned to take the kids to Legoland and Sea world. I had no problem checking in. The girls at the front desk were really friendly. Once you enter the hotel, it smells good!! The rooms were big enough for the 5 of us. Very clean. Large bathrooms and super clean. The A.C. is not noisy at all. The laundry room was a plus! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would stay there again!
Brand new hotel in Old Town
I love this hotel! This new hotel is really stunning and you can tell that it is brand new. I loved the rooms and they have a fun fire-pit area to hang out around. It's in a great location and we had the best time on our San Diego vacation.
