Get ready to experience the story of Christmas unlike ever before. As a part of the 'Holidays Around the World' at Epcot, the Candlelight Processional has become a tradition at the Walt Disney World Resort and for so many of their guests. You can enjoy the narration of the story of Christmas by celebrities from November 25th through December 30, 2016. Each celebrity will be available anywhere from two to four nights. In addition to the reading, the show is filled with beautiful live music from a 50 piece orchestra and a mass choir. Together, they play classic Christmas carols you know and love, as well as holiday songs from around the globe.
Walt Disney World begins releasing the narrators in early summer, and continues to add on as we get closer to the dates. Here is the Candlelight Processional Epcot 2016 schedule so far:
  • 11/25-27 – Steven Curtis Chapman
  • 11/28-12/1 – Neil Patrick Harris
  • 12/2-12/3 – Whoopi Goldberg
  • 12/4-12/12 – TBA
  • 12/13-12/15 – Meredith Vieira
  • 12/16-12/18 – TBA
  • 12/19-12/21 – Joe Morton
  • 12/22-12/27 – TBA
  • 12/28-12/30 – Cal Ripken, Jr.
You can catch the processional three times per night at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. during the holidays at Epcot. All of the shows will take place in the America Gardens Theatre right in the heart of Epcot and fill the park with holiday cheer. The Candlelight Processional is just the start of 'Holidays Around the World' at Epcot. Festive decorations, holiday celebrations, live entertainment and so much more fill the streets with holiday fun for the whole family.
Because the Candlelight Processional is so beloved and popular at Walt Disney World, Disney has added on a dining package available for purchase.
