My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to spend a day at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in Nassau, Bahamas a few weeks ago. It was spectacular and one of our very favorite locations that we experienced on our trip to the Caribbean.
The resort is huge and so beautiful. Landscaped and designed with European grandeur, it took our breath away and we were spoiled and treated like royals during our visit there.
The tropical gardens were so green and lush and the ocean water was crystal clear and a bright blue turquoise.
We were in heaven swimming in the warm ocean with tropical fish all around and soaking up the sun on the white sand beaches.

Sandals Royal Bahamian also has a private island and dock with boats that take you back and forth throughout the day. The private offshore island features two beaches and Stew Fish, a fresh seafood restaurant overlooking the ocean.
We enjoyed pina coladas by one of seven sparkling pools (two with swim-up bars) and relaxed in an oversized hammock on the beach.
