The Pacific Wharf is an ideal spot to grab a bite and lounge. It's also one of the only places at Disneyland® where you can get free food! And it's not just any free food. It's gourmet. Get a free square of Ghirardelli chocolate each time you enter the shop. The chocolate flavors rotate seasonally, so you never know what treat awaits you. You can also get a free sample of the famous Boudin's tangy sourdough bread at the Boudin Bakery's Bakery Tour.
Not only is the Pacific Wharf a great place to eat, it's located right next to the Baby Care Center. If you are traveling with babies, or even potty training toddlers, you'll find everything you need and more here. The Baby Care Center has private nursing areas, changing stations and microwaves for heating formula. The Baby Care Center also keeps a small stock of baby essentials available for purchase should you need anything once you're in the Parks. The Baby Care Centers are also one of the very few areas of the Resort where music isn't piped in. If you have children who need a respite from the day, the Baby Care Center is a good choice.
Additionally, the Pacific Wharf has two entries into Cars Land. One will take you under the red rock arch by Flo's V8 Cafe, and the other will take you to the back of Fillmore's Taste-In right across from Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. It also opens up to what will be Pixar Pier when it opens on June 23, 2018.
The Pacific Wharf is also a great spot to catch any seasonal parades or other entertainment offerings. The Pacific Wharf also hosts seasonal events like the Disney California Adventure® Park Food & Wine Festival and the Disney Festival of Holidays. During Pixar Fest it's a great spot to watch the entire Paint the Night Parade. You'll always want to check the calendar to see what is happening during your visit.
