Paradise Gardens Park

Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure® has so much fun awaiting your family! From attractions to incredible entertainment, there’s something for everyone. We’ve broken it down for you so you can prepare for your visit:

Paradise Gardens Park Attractions:

Golden Zephyr
Kids of all ages will love spinning high above the ground on the Golden Zephyr. Not only is the attraction fun, it offers some of the best bird’s eye views of Disney California Adventure® Park. This attraction closes early for World of Color, so if you want to ride it, be sure to ride in the daylight.

Goofy's Sky School
This Wild Mouse-style roller coaster will take you for quite the ride - Goofy style. Goofy gives you flying lessons as you zip and zoom around the track. You may even catch some air! This attraction allows both FastPass, Single Rider and Rider Swap options.

Jumpin' Jellyfish
More beautiful views of Disney California Adventure® Park await on this gentle up and down ride that overlooks Paradise Bay. Little jellyfish must be at least 40” to ride. Also, keep in mind that this attraction closes early on nights that World of Color is playing.

Silly Symphony Swings
Themed after the classic swing rides of the earliest amusement parks, this ride will take you to soaring heights over Paradise Bay set to the tune of “The William Tell Overture.” There are both single and double seated swings, each with their own line, so pay attention to which line you’re getting into. Riders must be 40” tall, and be aware that the Silly Symphony Swings close early on World of Color nights.

The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure

No visit to Paradise Gardens Park is complete without visiting Ariel under the sea on The Little Mermaid – Ariel's Undersea Adventure. This attraction is perfect for any age. You’ll board a seashell where you’ll see Ariel’s entire story unfold before your eyes with vibrant colors and beloved songs from the film. We dare you not to dance along!

This is a very quick loading attraction, which is great because it means the line moves quickly as well. And, when you find it's your turn to ride, you'll love that this is one of the longer attractions in the park. At about six minutes long, enjoy the AC under the sea with Ariel and friends.

Paradise Gardens Park Entertainment:

Character Meet & Greets
Meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia near The Little Mermaid attraction. It’s the only place in the entire Disneyland® Resort you’ll find your pals from Zootopia. You can check Judy and Nick’s appearance schedule on the official Disneyland® app.

Mariachi Divas
This Grammy-Award winning all-female music group plays daily at the Paradise Garden Bandstand and you won’t want to miss it. Be sure to check the performance schedule for showtimes. You can find a paper performance schedule at the park entrance, or check the Disneyland® app or website for the electronic version.

Operation: Playtime! - featuring the Green Army Patrol
Although considered atmospheric entertainment, this mini-show is as interactive as they come. The Green Army Men of Toy Story fame will pull you into the show teaching you moves and songs. If you want in on the action, check the showtime schedule on the Disneyland® app and make sure you’re hanging around outside The Little Mermaid - Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.

World of Color
World of Color is the award-winning nighttime spectacular that plays nightly on Paradise Bay. The show weaves your favorite Disney music with enormous water screens, fountains, lights, lasers and special effects. On busier nights, there will be two or even three showings. Seasonal shows may be available depending on the time of year you are traveling, so it’s always a good idea to check the official entertainment calendar for details.

You'll need to get a FastPass for World of Color if you want to see the show. FastPass tickets are distributed in person near The Little Mermaid attraction. If you have MaxPass you are able to select a FastPass from your phone. And don't worry; you can have a FastPass for a show and an attraction at the same time.

If you really want to treat yourself, you can get preferred World of Color viewing by purchasing a dining package at the Wine and Country Trattoria or the Carthay Circle Theatre Restaurant. Another popular option is the World of Color Dessert Party. It is the only dining option that includes dining while enjoying the show. The dessert party includes a pre-plated dessert plate per person as well as soft drinks and select alcoholic beverages for guests 21 and older. It is a real treat - both figuratively and literally. Details on the dessert party and dining packages can be found on Disneyland’s website and the app. Reservations for both dining packages and the dessert party are required and can be made 60 days in advance.

Paradise Gardens Park Dining:

If a brew and a soft pretzel sounds like your idea of a good time, be sure to hit the Bayside Brews. As far as pretzels go, you can choose between a classic Mickey or a stuffed version with your choice of cream cheese or jalapeno cheese. Then top it off with a lager, cider, seasonal margarita or a fountain drink. You can mobile order using the Disneyland® app; just remember guests must be 21 or older to drink alcohol.
