This often-missed land should not be overlooked on your Walt Disney World vacation. Rafiki's Planet Watch not only gives you a closer look at the wildlife housed at Disney's Animal Kingdom®, but shares a glimpse of the care that the animals receive. You’ll also be able to learn about the conservation efforts for each species, especially those that are threatened by extinction. It’s the perfect opportunity to share a fun and educational experience with your family.

The Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom® even houses one of the doctor’s rooms used to take care of their animals. You may even have the opportunity to see the park's veterinarians and technicians perform routine surgeries or procedures! If watching medical procedures isn't your thing, you can visit the Affection Section instead. Here, you’ll be able to meet friendly animals at the park’s only petting zoo. It's sure to make for some pretty adorable photos!

Fun fact: the entrance to the Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom® has the most hidden Mickeys located in one, single area. Who would've guessed? Don’t be surprised if you spend more time there finding all the Mickeys than anywhere else!
