Our favorite!
This is our favorite place to stay. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The water park and breakfast is the best part. We always feel safe and relaxed staying at Cambria.
The best free breakfast!
Hotel staff is very friendly, room was clean, clean towels and beds made daily. Also one of the best free breakfasts we have ever had.
Fantastic for our stay!
Cambria was fantastic for our recent Disneyland stay. We are a family of 5 + my Mom and we felt like we had more than enough space for all of us. The double showers was a huge bonus and the large fridge allowed us to have snacks and drinks in the room. The pool and outdoor activities were great. The secure underground parking was nice and there are places to eat right in the complex (The burger place was DELICIOUS). The ART picks up right out front of the hotel! Overall our stay was wonderful and we will happily be back again.
Highly recommend this hotel!
I recently stayed at the Cambria Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated. The hotel amenities were top-notch, especially the pool water park and the on-site buffet, which served delicious free breakfast. The location was perfect and just 8min away from Disneyland, yet the hotel maintained a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend the Cambria Hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.
It was an ok stay
Outside some days the breakfast being cold and the AC not working at night it was ok
A nice, fun hotel
Hotel was quite nice as were the rooms we stayed in. I would suggest that they upgrade the breakfast menu. You could tell you were eating powdered eggs; and where's the Bacon? Lots of sausage, but no bacon. The breakfast staff was amazing! Keeping things picked up and cleaned up. The pool area was great for the kids. They loved it.
Clean and nice!
Very clean very nice people!
You get what you pay for
The Cambria is great for most but not for us unless it’s a very specific thing. For example, the free hot breakfast buffet is easily no higher than 3/10 on quality. Waffles are tricky to make right and take forever. Buffet item quality is sketchy. Drinks were warm. Not a huge selection. Room had an AMAZING view of the park we weren’t expecting and we were even able to see the fireworks. It was super super clean. However that room didn’t have any drawers for clothes and not much extra room to lay out your suitcases to live out of. Super messy and disorganized. There’s only barn/pocket doors on the bathrooms so no real privacy and the two showers aren’t realistic. The main pool is fantastic, but there were bees EVERYWHERE out in the pool area primarily by the (disappointingly small) splash pad. Hot tub controls were broken for the entire week we were there. Restaurants right near by was a game changer and made things easy for sure. In short, you get a lot for what you pay here, however you still only get what you pay for…
Great location and hotel
The breakfast staff lit a candle and for a balloon for my daughter's birthday breakfast. Above and beyond. However, we needed an ice pack and the ice machine was either out or not working on our floor. You can not access other floors and when I called the front desk, they did not offer any assistance. Just sorry. That was disappointing. The pool and slides were so fun. Security was great. The location was great and the room was perfect. 2 showers was really a nice.
Great hotel all around
Great breakfast. Really nice pool area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Nice to be able to store our luggage with the front desk after check-out. 1.25 mile walk to Disneyland. 1.25 mile walk to Angels Stadium. Great location.
An Amazing Hotel!
This hotel was amazing! All the employees were very nice! Very good breakfast, nice rooms, nice big fridge in the room!! very nice pool! We could see the Disneyland fireworks from our hotel room! The location of the hotel is perfect not too far from the parks!! Will definitely stay here again when we go back to California!
Great family hotel!
Clean and family oriented. Very fun experience. We loved it!
We love it here!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel my grandkids love it. We had a bedroom with the bunkbeds the big bed and a kitchenette. The pool area is very nice with slides ping-pong table basketball court a putting green. The breakfast in the morning is great and it’s close proximity to the park, we would stay here again.
Family Friendly Stay
Beautiful hotel. Very family friendly. Staff was very helpful and nice.
Great hotel for kids
Really fantastic hotel for kids. Brilliant pool area, kids wanted to skip Disney fireworks for movies at the pool. ART stop just outside or across from Toy Story parking lot to use free shuttle. Modern and clean.
A Decent Option
The hotel was decent. The staff wasn’t the friendliest. Parking is way overpriced and the pool was way too crowded.
Awesome Family suite!!
We had 9 of us share a family suite! It accommodates 11! Had a full size fridge, sink and other amenities! Beds were comfy and loved the two separate rooms for quiet or privacy!… the security friends at the water park were great and so funny! They made us feel very welcomed!! Breakfast is kind of crazy but Starbucks is right outside the door so at times choose to eat there!! Bus was very close!!! Rooms cleaned and did not hear a lot of noise outside our room. Only one slight issue was the air kept turning to heat… but management sent some up 2x to fix. Loved this place would stay again!!
Great Hotel
Great hotel with a huge breakfast area. No dressers & no luggage rack, so lived out of suitcases that were on the floor, which is definitely not my favorite. Easy to get to the parks by Uber or ART bus.
So much to offer!
It was clean, workers are nice. We did'nt have to leave the hotel. We had everything we needed to keep the kids busy and occupied. Love the breakfast.
Not the best
Staff at the hotel were not friendly, the pillow cases were dirty and the sheets were dirty too.
Parking
The room slept 7 people but there was only one closet with only 6 hangers, no drawers to put clothes in, no place to put luggage other than the couch, beds, and tables, so your luggage was in the way when you wanted to sit, sleep, or eat. I paid for parking ($25 per night) but noticed several cars parked overnight in the 2 hour parking area, for free, whereas I had to pay $87.75 for 3 nights of parking just 50 feet away from those who didn't pay, but should have. They need to be fair and enforce the parking rules, or not charge for parking. We actually had 3 cars with our group and we all paid for parking, while others got away for free. NOT HAPPY!
Great hotel!
Great hotel, very clean. Friendly staff. Great comfy beds. Amazing breakfast
Great stay!
The Cambria is a newer hotel and very clean and nice. The water park is fun to let the little ones get out some of the energy that they have left over from Disneyland. Nice big hot tub and child’s pool. The breakfast is great, Micky waffles, fresh fruit, juices scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, hot and cold cereal. It is hot and fresh. Served from 6:30-9:30. So on the off Disney day you can sleep in a little. Staff is friendly and helpful. Edith in the breakfast section is awesome, we enjoyed her personality as much as breakfast.
Great Hotel!
Clean and comfortable rooms, fun and friendly staff, excellent views, wonderful pool area, delicious breakfast.
Loved everything about our stay!
The Cambria was amazing. The hotel was very clean, in a nice area, and family friendly. The room was really nice, not super big, but we appreciated the separate shower and tub so two people could be bathing at once. They cleaned the rooms everyday and it had a small fridge and microwave. The breakfast was really great and included Mickey waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries, toast, bagels, and fresh fruit every morning. Breakfast went til 9:30 every morning which was great for sleeping in. We ordered room service for dinner one night and the food was actually really good. Parking was underground and you needed your key to operate the elevator so it felt really secure. The pool was heated so our kids got to enjoy it even though it was only in the 40’s at night. The Art bus picks up right outside the hotel so that was a definite plus. I will say some of the ART drivers were nicer than others but overall it was a good experience for us. We never waited more than 20 minutes to be picked up. Also, we did look just for fun and an Uber was 7$ one way and it seemed like if you went at peak times (open/close) you could be waiting a while for a ride. I would definitely do the ART bus again. We loved everything about the Cambria and plan on staying there again!!
Clean and nice hotel
The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The couch in the room was not comfortable and I wished they had one more dresser or something we could use as storage. Also they had music playing in the lobby and breakfast area that was way too loud. It made it hard to hear each other when you were in those areas especially if there were other groups of people.
A pleasant surprise!
I almost didn't book at the Cambria after I read some of the reviews. But wow was I surprised the staff was great so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the area was kept so clean and all the food refilled. The house keeping which I was not expecting to clean our rooms because of our 6 night stayed cleaned every day and we never had to ask for anything.
Need a bigger room next time
Loved the resort, just wish we booked a suite instead of basic room, room was very small for 4 people
Great Hotel!
Hotel staff were great, rooms were very nice and clean with maid service daily and the pool and outdoor game area wonderfully fun. With shuttle service right in front of the hotel.
Great Stay!
Our family of 5 (with 3 teens) stayed for 6 nights the end of January and we loved it. The breakfast was huge and so early (6:30) that we could eat, then walk the 15 minutes to the parks and arrive before "Rope Drop." The staff were so nice and helpful. The 2 times I called down for more blankets and towels, someone was at our door in a few minutes. Highly recommend!
Pretty Happy
We've been coming to this hotel for a couple years now and its been interesting to see where its going... Love the location, beds, the bunk beds are always a hit, the space, the free parking thanks to get away! However through the years the staffs friendliness has dropped. The bar staff is terrible to be real honest we're talking just rude people and the wrist band rule is kinda annoying although I suppose I get it. Breakfast is just ok, it does go quick and boy does it get super busy down there! Over all we do like it and will most likely continue to book them.
Had a few issues
The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. The hotel staff was kind of hit or miss. Either they were very helpful and informative or they gave us the wrong info. We had booked two rooms and had called ahead to ask that they be as close as possible. I was told they would be right across the hall from one another. When we arrived our rooms were on completely opposite ends and we were told there was nothing they could do. I understood that was a possibility so while I was discussing I was not surprised. We were given the wrong art shuttle info twice and ended up carrying my 5 year old back to the hotel for about a quarter of a mile. Not fun after a long day at Disney. The final thing that I did not love were the security rules. They were quite restrictive. If you forgot your wristband to the pool you had to haul everyone back up to the room to get them. The kids thought the bands were uncertain and did not like the fact that they had to wear them for 5 days. You had to scan a key in the elevator to access your floor which ended up being a huge pain and we had to go back to the front desk and get several more keys so even the younger kids had one. I did not have a horrible experience with staff but I also did not have any amazing experiences. It was fine. Not sure I would choose this hotel again and I would definitely warn friends ahead of time before I would recommend it. All in all, we had an amazing vacation!
Great Stay!
This is the perfect place for a family to stay. We were in a family suite and loved the full sized fridge and extra space. Great amenities and location. Disneyland is a quick Uber ride away (cheaper for a family then the daily per person rate for the ART shuttle). This was the perfect place for our relaxing days as well because there are many different activities available. The pool is heated- we enjoyed it in 65° weather. Breakfast was filling (go earlier to miss the craziness). Staff is excellent. This will be our go to for our trips from here out.
Not enough space
The kitchenette works out great for us as we don’t eat out as much when on vacation. The full size fridge gets packed up with our favorites. The let down is there are no utensils, plates, or kitchen amenities. You have to bring your own items which is difficult if you’re flying. Other kitchen hotels I’ve been in have everything from dish soap a new scrubber, salt and pepper and dish-ware. The bed is very comfortable and numerous, comfy pillows. Nice down comforter. Both rooms have separate heat and ac controls. There is plenty of room for all of your stuff. The let down is, there is not one dresser or drawer so you live out of your suitcase and that’s diff I’ll with many people and kids. There is one cabinet that’s tiny with hanger space and a safe. Absolutely ridiculous with all of the dead space. The bathroom is spacious with a shower and a tub which makes it nice if you have kids. It is hard to access the tub controls as the sink counter is in the way but it’s manageable. The pool is another plus. A huge, heated pool. A kiddie wading pool, and a hot pool and splash pad and two water slides. The downside is the pool is only open until 10pm so if you’re there for Disney, you’re really not going to use it. If you have to have a special deal or buy an upgraded room to even have pool access. They give you bands and if you lose your band you do not get another one. You could lose your pool access from an accidental wrist band loss. They do have a complimentary breakfast that seemed good but we never participated. It has key things we find important, a fun pool, a big fridge, space and a comfy bed. The valet is now gone and it’s nice you can self park in the underground garage which leads you to elevators to the rooms.
A+ Stay!
A little farther then I thought from the park but the art bus line goes from the front of the hotel to front of Disneyland all day. The hotel staff was the most helpful of any I have ever stayed at. Housekeeping was awesome. Aaaa++++
Best Location!
The location was great with a short bus ride to the parks, and breakfast included is a plus!
Very Recommended!
Staff were Very friendly, clean rooms, loved the breakfast area. Plenty of food and so many options. Very recommended.
Our FAVORITE!
We’ve stayed at a few hotels for Disney, and we all agreed that this was hands down our favorite! I loved how they have rooms to accommodate big families. Their complimentary breakfast was AMAZING! My kids loved the cute Mickey waffle stations, and they had plenty to go around. Despite being near capacity I was amazed at how QUIET the hotel was! You would never know there were so many others staying there, as it seems they have great soundproofing rooms. We also loved that they kept the pool water actually warm! We had tons of fun with the pool, hot tub and water slides. The location was convenient with a bus stop right there, and the staff were great. Loved how they have added measures for security and piece of mind. This will be our go to place from now on when we visit Disney.
Great Stay
The hotel texted us everyday to make sure how we were doing and reminded us to message them if there was anything we needed, which we never did! The beds were made, new towels, and trash was taken out everyday. We are a family of 7 and I felt like our room was always clean when we came back every night, though they said they only would clean on our 4th night. The breakfast had enough options for me to eat for my Gluten-free diet and our kids, nephews, and nieces all had fun at the water park there.
Great Stay!
This hotel was perfect!! Had a few small restaurants close by, the bus stop to Disneyland right downstairs. Freindly staff and great breakfast
Great Hotel!
The Cambria hotel was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was so easy to grab coffee, food, and hop on the bus to Disney. My kids had fun at the pool and the complimentary breakfast was great! We
Spacious rooms, awesome pool area, decent breakfast.
My family booked the 2 queen/sofa bed combo and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was basically a suite with the sofa bed in the living room and a small kitchenette with full sized refrigerator. The other room was the bedroom which had a bathroom with two showers! It made for verify efficient prepping in the mornings! The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the breakfast. While it was a good breakfast there could have been more variety, the fruit could have been more ripe and the lines for the waffles was kind of ridiculous. Overall I would definitely stay again.
Great Stay!
The double queen was good but I wish we had more space in the room. We were crowded and it was just 4 of us and 2 of them were little kids
It was a great place to stay
It was a great place to stay
Great place for a family vacation
Hotel was spacious and clean. Love that there was a water park on site. That was the main reason why we booked this hotel. However we didn’t get to take advantage of it because we were always on the go and then when we were at the hotel it was just to come and rest from the tiredness of fun . Wish water park was open longer for late night usage. Breakfast was ok but would be nice if they add in more options to choose from. Mickey Mouse waffle was a plus!!! Overall safe hotel which means we’ll be staying there again.
Breakfast and housekeeping were a joke
Housekeeping is almost non existent. Cleaned well took all our towels the night before we were leaving. Needed new bedding and took them 4 calls to bring a mattress pad. Breakfast is a joke. The waffle makers have lines with people making like 20 waffles and that’s if you’re lucky. If you’re at breakfast by 8 am you’ll survive but if you sleep in forget it. No almond milk only 2% regular milk. Things at breakfast just ran out and it took them sometime to figure it out and with it as busy as it was….
All around great place!
The room was spacious, clean and offered an amazing view of the nightly fireworks from Disneyland. Having a variety of restaurants so close was convenient and my nephew absolutely loved the pool/water slides.
Not what was expected...
Hotel did not have a variety of food options for breakfast. In hotel description it states in house restaurant but no answer when you call or get transferred. Called daily for housekeeping and not all request were completed.
Housekeeping didn't come as often.
Hotel room was only cleaned once in 5 days time. Our blinds did not work and had to manual fixed by a worker every time. The hotel hallways and day areas were extremely hot and humid, it was very uncomfortable.
great location
Great hotel great location to Disney and great price!! Staff was very friendly and helpful!!
This hotel was amazing!
This hotel was amazing! The complimentary breakfast and water park were so helpful and fun. From the water slides to the mickey mouse waffles this place was so fun! I do wish the kitchen was stocked with utensils and that there were a few more food options in the little store.
Amazing for families with kids!
The hotel was very busy since it’s close to the parks less than a mile. Great two bathroom showers. Wonderful and soft beddings. Amazing for families with kids.
definitely be back
Our stay was great. The breakfast buffet and water slides were the best features there. Karol at the front desk was awesome and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
Great hotel and friendly staff
We loved this hotel and will be staying here again everyone was so nice and they make sure you are safe and welcome through your whole visit
Great stay!
Very nice place, great breakfast, lived the water slides and nightly movies at the pool. Only complaint no fans in the rooms/bathroom. The freeway is noisy at night.
Overall a good stay!
The hotel was comfortable and the grounds were amazing. The full breakfast was fun and the pool area was great! Having the movies every night was really fun but they needed more seating. It was really annoying that housekeeping came every 4 days. As a family of 7 Crammed into a suite, the garbage was always overflowing and the carpets needed vacuumed. Also we got 4 towels for 7 people. And the halls and main areas is dirty carpets too. Overall it was a good stay! We enjoyed our time. Not really within walking distance of Disney, but you could see the fireworks from our room and the bus was helpful.
LOVE this hotel!
Love this hotel!!! First time staying there and if we ever visit Anaheim again we will definitely come back to Cambria! By far the most comfortable sleep we have had in a hotel, the beds are amazing and the rooms are soundproof! Never heard people walking or talking in hallways nor did we hear traffic outside. Oh and their blinds are completely black out so no light gets in if you don’t want it to. The whole vibe of this place was so fun, the workers very helpful and kind. Great breakfast too!!
Great Stay
Very clean, great heated pool, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Issues with our stay
When we checked into the hotel, the reservation was not correct and the hotel staff was SO rude about it. No effort was made to try and resolve the error. I was handed a hard and told to speak with the financial manager if I wanted a refund. The hotel room and parking garage keys were constantly not working and it was very inconvenient to have to keep exchanging the keys for new ones. The rooms were clean, but there was nowhere to store your suitcase(s) and the bathroom vanity was tiny. It was difficult for a family of 4 to get ready all at once. Having two showers was amazing, but I wish the website would have disclosed that both showers and one single vanity were all in one bathroom. I was under the impression there were two separate bathrooms
Amazing Staff!
The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Any interaction with staff was welcoming and very prompt service was provided. A special shout out to Edith who made it a point to get to know us and ask everyday how we were doing.
Great hotel!
Great hotel, roomy and comfortable.
Good Hotel
The room was really nice as well as the front desk customer service. However, they do not allow guests to connect any online game console to their internet. Also the hot food was cold and extremely bland. Once the French vanilla creamer in the cafeteria was gone they told me they didn’t have anymore.
Not good with housekeeping
Housekeeping was poor. We stayed 6 nights and the room got made up once on day 5
Highly recommend this hotel
We stayed at the Cambria from 2/14/23-2/19/23. We arrived at 10:00am and they checked us right in without any additional costs, we loved that!!! The hotel had a really modern vibe and was really clean and smelled nice. The breakfast provided a lot of options and was decent, we especially loved the waffles, we also liked how they served you the hot food items so as to keep down on the mess etc. The pool area was nice and the pools were really warm, we did try the grill onsite and wished we had walked over to the other restaurant as it wasn't very good. Our room had a few issues, the toilet had a hard time flushing unless you held it just right, there was a bit of garbage by the bed and the air conditioner in the living room area would only blow cold air. We didn't let this get us down, we dealt with it as we loved how clean the hotel was and the location and ease of getting to Disney via the ART shuttle bus stop right at the front of the hotel. We did need some extra bedding one night and towels another night and even though we called after 10:00PM someone came right up. They were very attentive and we liked that. The restaurants onsite had many good options, we did eat at The Habit Burger and also the California Fish house (very good). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Loved this hotel!
We loved this hotel! Very nice, very clean! My kids requested to stay here again next time.
Everything was great.
Everything was great. Had a few hiccups but they were fast at helping to resolve the situation. The one down side is they closed the water slides in the middle of the week which was the time we had to use them. Kinda bummed as the slides was one big reason we chose this hotel
It’s a great place to stay!!
It’s a very clean hotel from the lobby to the room. I get some reviews make it sound like people had a bad time and I bet it wasn’t the hotel. Pack light and don’t expect something that isn’t what they advertised. It’s not a spacious presidential suite. It’s a great hotel packaged with the tickets. The food options on site are a great set of options. The. Breakfast is as expected not chef prepared but you can have as much as you want and it’s a good start to the day. I’d rate the staff 10/10, room 7/10. The pull out bed from the couch is garbage. Plan on sleeping on the couch as is. The walk to the park is about 15-20 minutes. I suggest getting the ART pass and it’s the Manchester Line that takes you back to the hotel. It’s actually a good value don’t let the bad reviews push you away it’s a good stay.
Just okay
It was just okay. I had a friend tell me to stay there, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The room was a disappointment; the carpet was stained beyond belief, the kitchenette was useless, there was ZERO storage and the music/movie from the pool was so loud we couldn’t sleep until it was turned off at 10pm. The breakfast was not good. Too crowded and food was not warm. The staff was nice enough and the lobby was great. We did appreciate the underground, secure parking. I hated the room. Two showers was nice, but the bathrooms we so small that it didn’t make much of a difference. Only one person could fit at a time anyway. Also, the lighting was horrible. The bedroom was so dark we ended up moving the lamp from the sitting area into the room so we could see what we were doing. Our girls liked the bunk beds and the beds were comfy. I cannot stress enough how horrible the storage was. We had clothing in piles on the coffee table, on the shelves in the kitchenette, on the ironing board, anywhere we could find a space to keep our clothing. It was pretty laughable. The location was convenient. Quick to Disney and quick to freeway access.
Room was great besides the sofa bed
We stayed in a King suite with bunk beds, king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible quality - the mattress was super thin and every spring/metal bar stabs a person trying to lie down on the mattress in the back - no way I would let my kids sleep on it. Even when put together as a couch, it was super saggy and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room was great! We enjoyed daily hot/cold breakfast options and found the hotel wasn't too far a distance for walking to the Disney parks.
Loved everything about it
This hotel was easy to find, had easy check in and check out. Hotel has a cute, up to date, modern feel. Had easy parking for our oversized SUV and safe parking. Hotel felt safe with key entry access only. Free breakfast with great choices. Awesome restaurants in Hotel parking lot. Hotel had great texting communication to keep us up to date on hotel services. We had queen suite and it was perfect for 6 of us. Loved the 2 showers, easy for bed time routine. Room was clean and fully stocked. Beds and pillows were super comfy, slept great. Hotel was quick to bring more towels and toilet paper. Hotel was right next to bus. We chose to walk to Disneyland park. Approximately 20 minute walk from hotel to gate. Easy to navigate to park. Hotel had great pool and fun movies. Had a very good time staying here and would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
Great family hotel
This was a great family hotel and perfect for our needs. 5 min walk to Toy Story car park was convenient and meant that we could skip the security line at Disneyland. The living room was very spacious and made us not feel cramped at all. The kids loved the waterslides and basketball court as well as the pool. Breakfast was not great in our opinion though. Hot food was not fresh or tasty. One day there was no cutlery and it should open at 6am and not 6:30 for those wanting to do rope drop.
Beautiful hotel
Hotel was beautiful and they had very good security, but didn’t like the no housekeeping during our stay. Breakfast was not self serve so it was usually served cold
Great Place for my Family
Cambria was a great place for my family. The breakfast was good, eatery’s out side of the hotel was convenient and the pool and water Slides were great for my children while my husband and I sat by the fire to unwind from our long days at Disneyland. Cambria is definitely worth it. One thing that Cambria can work on is the customer service from their young staff in the dining room. The older staff was amazing. The 2 very young girls that serve or refill during breakfast weren’t very welcoming other that that we loved our stay with Cambria.
One of the best I've ever stayed in!
This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in! We have 5 kids and the rooms and pool area was incredible!! We will be staying there again FOR SURE!!
Very nice!
The hotel was very nice! They have a text message system for any of your requests that worked great. Keep in mind this hotel is very far from the park! The pool area is great.
A definite place to stay
Great stay. The staff was amazing. Hotel had it all. A definite place to stay
Recommend again and again
Extremely clean! Nice and new rooms. Having both showers in the bathroom was actually so nice. We had zero maintenance issues and didn’t mind the cleaning being every couple days. The walk to Disney was 20-25 minutes which we didn’t mind at all every day. The pool area was also awesome and heated so even on super chilly nights our kids still had a ton of fun. We’re pretty high maintenance when it comes to hotels and we would stay and this place and recommend it again and again.
Terrible service
The hotel was beautiful from the exterior. Pool area, lobby and bar are really nice. Room was run down, couch was broken, couldn’t really sit on it. Carpet was stained and shower had low water pressure and one of the 2 showers was still dirty when we got into our room. The worst part was the service. Service was horrible. Poor customer service and the texting feature was a failure. They want you to text the front counter if you need anything or have any questions but most of my texts were ignored or they wouldn’t reply until hours later. I asked for new towels 2 days in a row, it wasn’t until the 3rd day that I waited at the front counter for the employee to hand me clean towels at the desk. Even after I told her I wanted them given to me at the desk she said she’ll have them sent up to the room as soon as possible. They had already told me that the last 2 days. I went down to talk to the manager about my ignored texts and multiple other issues I had during the stay and she simply said “sorry our texting system is running slow.” During the stay, I had to replace my room keys and parking key twice as they stopped scanning. No apology or explanation given about the room keys, both times the counter girls just gave me attitude, asked for my room number and handed me another key. Housekeeping is supposed to go by the room on the 4th day of your stay, I stayed 7 days and it wasn’t until the 6th day that housekeeping went to our room. Even after 2 confirmation texts about housekeeping being scheduled on the 4th day. Because it took so long to get housekeeping, on the 4th and 5th day I requested someone stop by our room to vacuum the floors and bring us more trash bags. I have a 1.5 year old and a 3 year old so the floors were getting crumby. It wasn’t until about 8:45pm on the 5th night that someone knocked on the door, handing me a vacuum and said “leave it outside the door when you’re done” and handed me a few garbage bags. Not sure what all is included with housekeeping but when they did finally go through, they did not do any of the beds, they did not exchange or fill the shampoo or body wash, they did not leave more tissues or toilet paper. The hotel may look very nice and be in a convenient Location but for me, the service ruined the stay and I will not be staying here again.
Hotel was great!
Hotel was great! Everyone was friendly, pool area was great for our 9 and 5 year old. Having breakfast provided was a huge time and money saver. It does get a it busy in the morning around 8 but other than that I have no bad things to say. We walked to the park all 3 days. Highly recommend a stroller though or you will be carrying sleeping children.
Fine
It is a pretty far walk to the park. The suites were small. No utensils in the kitchen area. Only 2 chairs for seating in the kitchen. Did not like the bunk bed in with the king bed. Shower was very small.
Everything was Wonderful
Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast. It was not good, and we would recommend everything but the breakfast!
Overall good
Breakfast was good and service was helpful. Our room did have a bag of crushed up cheez its under a bed and the sheets on one bed were not clean. They sent new sheets for us quickly
Very nice hotel overall
Very nice hotel overall. Breakfast was better than I've seen of other places offering "hot" breakfasts with attentive staff, a decent selection, and clean dining area. My daughter was disappointed the water slides were closed, but the pool area was nice. Overall the room was clean, tidy, and well stocked when we arrived. Wish that it had better lighting.
Great location but fine rooms
Great location to walk easily to Disbeyland and restaurants. The room was fine and staff friendly however no housekeeping service, the lines were ridiculous for check in and breakfast. We chose the suite so we couod have a sofa sleeper and it was so poor quality my son's were sleeping on couch cushions. Hard to sleep for multiple nights.
Nice features
The hotel is upgraded and looks very nice. The room is just an average room with 2 beds nothing fancy. The 2 showers in the bathroom are a great feature with kids. There is no regular house keeping services, so you need to tay up on what you need. They said a room refresh would happen after the 3rd night, but they did not give us coffee, and did not replace all the dirty towels they took, so I had to message the front desk. After 2 messages, they brought us what we needed.
Room was nice
Room was nice. The beds were comfortable. The pull out bed was terrible, mattress was thin.
We had the very best experience here
We had the very best experience here. I don’t have enough good things to say. The staff was amazing. The rooms were big and clean. And the beds very comfortable. Not to mention such a fun pool area. It totally made our vacation. We will definitely be back
Fine hotel but long walk
We stayed in the king suite. While there are enough beds for 7 people, there is definitely not enough storage space for 7 people, and the bathroom is not built for 7 people getting ready all at the same time. We were able to make it work because we had some smaller kids, but just be aware if you're planning on staying with 7 bigger people - it will be tight. Pool area was great, breakfast was great. On paper, it looks like the hotel is walking distance to the parks, but doing that walk when you're tired is really long. We chose to walk because we had a large double stroller that would have been obnoxious to have to fold up for the bus or shuttle, but it's a LONG walk at the end of the day. Overall the hotel was fine, but we will definitely be staying closer next time.
Recommend
Great breakfast included with your stay, nice pool area with a splash pad and water slides, easy to get supplies we ran out of from front desk, quick walk to Toy Story parking lot to Disneyland.
Great combo of value, family friendly and very nice accomodations.
It costs $15 per day to park your car, but the location was perfect. About 5 blocks from Disneyland. Felt safe even walking at night. Funnest swimming pool/slides at the hotel. Clean. Great breakfast. Its a great combo of value, family friendly and very nice accomodations.
Ok
The hotel was ok. I wouldn't call the pool area a water park but it has 2 pools 2 slides and a splash pad. Breakfast buffet was pretty gross and always a mess and dirty. The shuttle is through a city app called ART and it's ok unless you need to come back to hotel during the day. Then it's a total disaster and you end up waiting around an hour for a bus. The furniture in hotel room was very uncomfortable. No water pressure in shower. Absolutely zero room service. The halls are lined with garbage and towels so it can be collected.
No room service
Stayed 7 nights without any garbage picked up or room cleaned. Asked the front desk and texted the number they gave with no help. Paid way too much money for this hotel. The shuttle service from this hotel is inconsistent and not reliable. Love get away today just not this hotel.
Modern, clean and comfortable
Very modern, clean and comfortable hotel. I love the 2 showers in the bathroom.
Great suite option
The suites are the best if you are going with 4 or more people because you have a separate room to watch TV and eat. Also having a bathtub and a door to close for a shower or toilet was so convenient getting people ready for the day or finishing the day to sleep! The only thing is the bathroom door is glass tinted and if someone goes to the bathroom to turn on the lights it lights up into the bedroom. Also the breakfast to make the Mickey Mouse waffles needs to be done by staff vs letting individual people do it themselves as they take too long to make. Otherwise than that for the price and being within 1 mile of the park is so convenient! There also are 4 restaurants in the same parking lot of the hotel.
Odd hotel
What an odd hotel with so much wasted potential. The family suites are perfectly set up… assuming nobody in your family wears clothes or plans to shower. No dressers, no drawers other than a few small ones in the kitchenette, no towel bars in the bathroom, just a tiny hanging space and three hooks in the bedroom. I heard a family in the elevator talking about getting removable adhesive hooks from Walgreens just so they could hang up wet towels… Apparently instead of buying dressers or towel racks Cambria spent the money on a fancy Bluetooth-speaker mirror for the bathroom. You’ll especially miss the towel bars given the lack of housekeeping. Officially they come by every third night, but during my 7 night stay the only actual housekeeping visit was on day 6. On day 3 they emptied the trash and did nothing else - I had to find a housekeeper down the hall to beg for fresh towels. There’s a phone number to text housekeeping requests too, but after three days of requests being ignored we gave up. The pool area is a lot of fun and the breakfast is adequate - the eggs were awful but we made the most of the waffles, breads, cereals, and fruit. The restaurant options across the parking lot are great - something for everyone. This hotel could be a great family option if they put some money into furnishing the rooms and hiring adequate staff. Until then, you can do better.
Confusing check in, but otherwise great
We were told we could see about early check-in upon arrival, they had us keep checking back every 30 min to an hour all the way until the actual check-in time. The whole check-in process seemed a bit confusing and inconvenient. The room itself was great, the larger sized refrigerator was wonderful to have and my kids all loved having their own beds. The additional tub/shower was very difficult to use in the space. The pool/activity area was awesome, would be great for parents with young children as well!
Nice amenities but lacking service
The amenities were nice but customer service is severely lacking. I tried contacting housekeeping through the messaging app as instructed and never got a response until I went to the front desk and complained. Always a long wait at front desk to get any help. I forgot an expensive personal pillow at the hotel and cannot get anyone to answer a phone or return my call. Choose hotel customer relations is on no help as well they just try to call hotel with no answer as well.
Good overall
The hotel was great. The food was ok. The water park was fun.
Comfortable for 7 people
Hotel suite was comfortable for 7 people, however bathroom arrangement is awkward and difficult to manage. Room cleaning service did not occur during the seven days we were there, but front desk staff are happy to replenish towels and other items if you ask. Breakfast is somewhat bland and repetitive, but plentiful and there's a lot of variety of offerings. Pool area is fun but was crowded and gets pretty dirty from dropped food and drinks.
One of our favorites
The Cambria Hotel is one of our favorites. We love everything about it! Just one heads up, we stayed for 11 nights, during that time a “light” cleaning was done twice ie. empty garbage, replace towels, etc. however, we could call the desk for something and it would be taken care of. At check-in we were told there would be a deep clean on day 5, but it didn’t happen. We were ok with this since we can make our own beds, but if you want beds made/deep clean every day, this might be something you need to consider.
Room wasn't ready
I never leave a review, but I arrived late for check in and my room was still not ready and had to wait with all of my luggage. Wasn't able to use the water park bracelets due to having our luggage with us in the front. Nice hotel, but staff an room shortage horrible!
We loved this hotel
We loved the hotel. It was clean and new. Kids loved the water slides. Bathroom had two showers so that was great with the kids. A few negatives. No housekeeping due to Covid. It’s a pretty good walk to Disneyland from the hotel (2 miles). Huge shout out to Getaway today for keeping our parking to $15 a day instead of $25!
Overall the hotel is nice
Overall the hotel is nice. It’s clean and well kept up. It’s relatively new I believe and it still looks nice. The pool and slides are a nice extra for the kids after a busy day at Disney. But if you are staying with 4 people I would highly recommend getting the suite. We were going to but thought we wouldn’t need it since we’d be in Disney most of the time. However the set up of the room does not work for four people. They give you no where to put your luggage or clothing. The choice of a desk and a weird wardrobe/ fridge and microwave hideaway doesn’t make sense. They literally had no where but the floor to put your suitcases. So you had to go and dig through your suitcase when you wanted to get new clothes out. Just not very practical. We made it work but it would be nice to be able to put your clothes in a drawer. The desk was not needed. Also the shower area is nice because you have a tub/shower and another shower stall. But they don’t give you anywhere to hang towels besides the shower stall door (2 towels max) and a hook outside the bathtub that you can hang two towels. No where even for a hand towel. The shower was nice but on several occasions the water was super hot. No matter how much you tried turning the temperature down it stayed hot. That also went for the bathroom sink. And for the breakfast while it’s nice having a “free” breakfast it was almost always crowded and the quality of some of the food was just ok. Making a Mickey waffle just seemed to take forever. They were good but not worth the time in line to make them and the time it took to make them. This hotel wouldn’t be my first choice for a return visit. Maybe the suites are better but between the room set up and the distance to Disneyland I think I could do better.
Great hotel for the price
Cambria is a great hotel especially for the price. The rooms are nice and the pool area is awesome. The only negative is they never came and replaced towels or took trash (despite requesting it twice). We had to finally go to the front desk and get some towels. I have seen this same issue on many reviews. But that was a minor inconvenience compared to the rest of the hotel.
A lot of positives
Love their free continental breakfast, they have really good variety of food. They do let you know upfront that they don’t do daily room service, but you can always send a text with anything you need. I liked the fact that there are restaurants close by. I like that Disneyland park was only 20 minutes away walking distance. The kids had fun in their pools and love the fact they had a water slide
We really enjoyed the Cambria
We really enjoyed the Cambria. The room was great. It had a nice sized fridge for all of our groceries and we loved having two showers after a long day at the park to help get ready for bed more quickly. Breakfast in the morning had something for everyone, however, it was a bit chaotic with most guests not adhering to hotel rules. The pool was also super fun in our downtime. The hotel ended up being a little further from Disney than we thought but the walk still wasn't bad.
I can only say really good things about this hotel
The hotel was awesome, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My kids had a blast in the water park inside the hotel. I can only say really good things about this hotel. Highly recommended
Spacious rooms and great pool
Spacious room nice pool but they do need to do something about the breakfast buffet you can’t eat the same thing 3-4 days in a row
The Cambria hotel was great
The Cambria hotel was great. Friendly staff, great food, and awesome water park area. Room was clean and in good condition. Wardrobe doors are not as hard to open as some reviewers make it sound. We had a few small issues but really nothing too serious: 1 - Our youngest child wasn't able to go down the water slide even if an adult accompanied him (safety issues, I get it). 2 - You have to request them to clean your room (which is pretty standard these days) but when they cleaned ours, they forget to give us new sheets for the fold-out couch bed. 3 - You need your room key card to take the elevator to your floor or the parking garage, which wasn't a big deal - but we had family staying at the same hotel on a different floor and our key card wouldn't take us to their floor - we had to meet them in the lobby to get to their rooms. 4 - Some people have given the breakfast service a bad review. Yes, they did run out of a few things, but I give them a pass on this because of post COVID protocols. You're going to run into the same issues no matter where you stay these days.
We all loved it!!
Clean, so friendly & nice. Great breakfast, even had gluten-free options for my kiddos! And the water park was awesome, We all loved it!!
The hotel itself was great. Clean and updated.
The hotel itself was great. Clean and updated. The pool and slides were nice too. I was just dissatisfied with the room because we thought from pictures that the double Queen had a kitchenette like the bunk bed room. This would have helped because we needed a full fridge to keep milk and food in for our 11 month old, and a sink to make bottles in.
Cambria is a nice hotel overall, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast
Cambria is a nice hotel overall, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean pool area, convienient to bus stop to DL/DCA and close enough to DL/DCA, but yet far enough away you feel like you are not still in the middle of the chaos. I also liked the couple of good places to eat on the premises. There are a few things that I was not impressed with however. They include no space for luggage, not enough towel hooks(ended up using jacket hooks which is still not enough), slides are only for those 44" and taller(my 5 yo can ride more thrilling rides at DL and DCA and was devastated she couldn't go on them), no daily service(they'll only service your room every 3 days, which is fine, but we are still paying for the service).
Restaurant only opens at 4pm during week
If you want a late check out expect to pay a minimum off $100 for hour later checkout. Restaurant only opens at 4pm during week so have to find somewhere else to get lunch or something to drink
Nice Waterpark
The water park area is nice, but the rooms that sweep 7 are very small, no room for luggage. The pull out sofa bed is very uncomfortable as both a bed and sofa. The breakfast is fine but the hot food is guarded by employees and rationed out. and in the week we were there they never had bacon.
Great Family Hotel
Great family hotel. Kids loved the water park and nightly outdoor movies. The room was exceptional as well as the service by employees. All were accommodating and pleasant. The only down side is how dirty the breakfast area gets. It's like a wild pack of banshees crashed it. Food all over the counters and floors. And the food is mediocre at best but it is hotel food. Upside is they have cute Mickey mouse waffles.
Good and Bad
Good things were: the beds were comfy, the breakfast was nice with many choices to choose from, and it was in walking distance of gas stations if you needed something, plus the toy story bus line to the Disney park, also had 2 showers, the one in the bath, and then a standing one, which made getting ready quicker. Bad things: No housekeeping, ice machines broken, no response from customers service for more towels or garbage cans for trash in the room. Couldn't figure out how to get the bathtub spout to work instead of the shower spout, plus the shower spout was one of those ones where you can hold it and wash, however it was leaking from the cord.
It had easy access to ART
Cambria was very nice. There was complimentary hot breakfast and the rooms were clean. It had easy access to ART. Our one complaint was the cycling off and on of the AC was loud enough to wake us up and it was off and on all night.
Overall we enjoyed it and the staff were really nice and helpful
Water park was great! The beds were very comfortable. A few things they need to fix or add would be more hanging hooks in the bathroom and a coat hook by the door would be nice. The closet is hard to open. A light by the mirror or on the ceiling would be nice. The ice machine was broken on levels 5 and 6. We had to go to the lobby for ice. Overall we enjoyed it and the staff were really nice and helpful.
GetAwayToday includes waterpark passes!
Pros: Waterslides were fun (GetAwayToday includes waterpark passes!). Underground secure parking is nice. (GetAwayToday provides discounted parking rates!). Breakfast was decent with Mickey waffles. 2 showers in standard 2 Queen room. Lots of very kind workers (front desk, breakfast, pool). GF options at breakfast (just ask). Cons: Room (2Queen room) is VERY small. Hit my shins on bedframe daily. Breakfast opens at 6:30am, which means getting to the parks for rope drop is tough. We had to eat in a rush and were still able to arrive at the DL gates before 7am. It's doable, but I wish breakfast opened earlier. Walk is no joke after a long park day. Can still be worth it, but something to keep in mind. We picked this hotel because it was walkable and we wanted waterslides for the kids to enjoy on non-park days. I'd book it again, but would consider other options. I'd prefer closer even if it doesn't include the waterparks (as we barely used it) and I'd check on breakfast hours before booking as well. I may book here again, but we'll have to compare it to other options.
We loved the pool area and water slides
We were so happy to find a hotel that could accommodate our family of 7 in one room. We loved the pool area and water slides. The hot breakfast was great and location near the parks was fantastic. The staff was kind and responsive. The only critique I had was that I asked for sheets to be changed on two beds in our room and they didn't come do it. The kitchen space was fantasticly sized so that we could purchase and store food to make and take lunches to the park. Great amount of storage as well. The sofabed mattress wasn't great but we just put the couch cushions under the mattress and it worked great.
Our room was great and worked perfect for us
Our room was great and worked perfect for us. My only complaint is that the carpets were filthy! Like really dirty. There were several spill spots in both rooms that were pretty gross. They definitely need to be checked and cleaned between guests. Other than that it was wonderful. We loved the pool area and breakfast every morning was so helpful.
Staff was nice and the rooms were clean.
Staff was nice and the rooms were clean. The pool was not heated like they said. So there was a lot of little kids in the hot tub all the time. You are not allowed to bring outside food and drinks into the pool area unless it’s from one in the hotel parking lot area. I was expecting the pool area to be a lot bigger, but our kids enjoyed it. Close to walk to Disney which was really nice. You do have to pay for parking. Thankfully I knew that ahead of time. It’s nice that it’s underground. Breakfast was good and very convenient. Overall I think we’d stay again.
Great hotel for young families.
Great hotel for young families. Hotel includes breakfast and a water park. Movies are shown from the pool each night and have a posting of the featured movies in the elevator. This hotel is a new build and it’s super clean. The staff is very friendly and we really didn’t need to ask for much as all the amenities are in place for our enjoyment. The only negative, not walking distance to the parks.
The room was clean and beds were comfy
The room was clean and beds were comfy. Bathroom area is a little too small
Super fun pool area
We are a family of four with two children 3 and 5 years old. We stayed in the double queen room for 5 nights. Let me cut to the chase, this hotel is definitely a walk. It took us about 22 minutes to walk to Disneyland. After a long day in the park, the walk back to hotel is a tad long. Now on to the good stuff! This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very pretty and the beds are very comfortable. My kids LOVED the pools and the splash pads. There is also a basketball hoop area that my husband played a game with some other hotel guests. My kids also enjoyed the little putting green. Happy hour drinks are $5 which was fun. Every night the hotel plays a Disney movie outside near the pool. This hotel is payed out very nice. Parking is under the hotel and you just take an elevator up to your room it is so quick and your car is safe. The free breakfast the hotel offers, I was not a fan. The food was not good and I didn’t eat any of it, it was bad. Although I didn’t like the food, the hotel itself and pool area was very nice. The pool never seemed over crowded either. We met some other nice families vacationing here while we were out at the pool. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice, clean, newer hotel with a really fun pool area for the whole family. But that walk! :) Oh, and I also liked that my room was very quiet. I never heard any neighbors and barely heard anyone going down the hall.
Definitely would stay here again!
Definitely would stay here again! Pros: ⭐️ Comfortable beds ⭐️ Blackout curtains ⭐️ Waterpark/pool + movies after dark ⭐️ Staff was friendly and accommodating ⭐️ Very close to ART stops for the Clementine route and the Hotel Circle Line. Also close to the Toy Story parking lot. ⭐️ Two showers ⭐️ Fridge with freezer ⭐️ Bunk beds w/ trundle Cons: ❌ One-mile from the park ❌ No dresser ❌ Uncomfortable couch Mixed reviews: 🤔 Breakfast. We all consistently loved the Mickey waffles, but didn’t appreciate the long line to make them yourself. While it was nice that the other hot foods rotated, they were all bland. We found ourselves adding salt to everything. We mostly ate bagels, cereal, and muffins. We loved the orange juice.
Great amenities
The Hotel had great amenities and the staff is very kind and helpful. The distance to the park is not terrible but you may want to consider ART.
Great staff and breakfast
The rooms are very small. Definitely opt for the suits that have extra beds. The staff were amazing and very willing to help or meet our needs to the best of their ability. I was impressed with breakfast and that was a major value with food costs being so high right now. Transportation was a bit of a bummer to get to and from the hotel.
Amazing
The hotel and water park were great. The breakfast was really good, had almost anything you would want to eat. Service was amazing also.
Will definitely be staying at Cambria again
Convenient location right off I-5. Close enough to Disneyland to walk. Would not recommend though. You will easily average 10-15 miles while in the parks. Having a starbucks in the parking lot was a god-send. The room was spacious to accommodate our family of 5 (which included 2 teenage girls). Staff was friendly and knowledgable about everything Disney. Breakfast was awesome and saved our family at least $100 per day by not having to purchase elsewhere. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was clean and very secure. When you scan room card in elevator it will only allow rider to access their floor. I felt safe letting my teens hang out in lobby and pool area without my supervision. Will definitely be staying at Cambria again.
Very nice and family friendly
This hotel is very nice and family friendly. We loved our family suite. The location and close food options are also great. Our one warning is that you shouldn't plan on sleeping on the couch bed. The mattress is VERY thin. Bring a blowup mattress instead.
Loved The Cambria Hotel & Suites
We loved The Cambria Hotel & Suites and would totally stay there again. That being said, there were some pros & cons: Pros: Friendly staff, large spacious rooms with bunk beds, two showering spaces, and a large fridge in-room, proximity to the Toy Story parking lot where you can catch the free shuttle to Disneyland, and a selection of quick-service restaurants (including Starbucks) in the parking lot. There is a free breakfast, and the Mickey waffles were a hit with my kids, but the other hot options available were very mediocre in terms of quality and taste. Cons: The couch in the room is incredibly uncomfortable and small, and the pool area is in the shade much of the day so unless you happen to be there during a really hot day, you'll probably be chilly.
We loved it!
What a wonderful place to stay! We will be coming back. So clean and we loved it.
I like the hotel
I like the hotel. The rooms were a little tight. The waterpark was fun. Location was great. If you ever recommend this to someone tell them to just walk to the parking Lot and take the Toy story bus to the park. Don’t recommend a Anaheim Resort transit. It’s horrible nowadays. The on-demand service sounds wonderful but it’s miserable. Their apps are terrible.
Awesome location
We had a quick two night stay! The hotel location was awesome- so close to the toy story parking which is what I wanted!
Great hotel
This is a great hotel. Cool pool set up and the room is great for a family.
Amazing
Amazing amenities, incredible value. Close enough to Disneyland that we walked everyday.
Definitely was a good value for a big group.
We stayed in a family suite that fits 7. The room was nice and pretty clean. It wasn't the cleanest. There were stains in the carpet and bathroom but maybe that's normal for hotels around Disneyland with lots of kids and families staying in them. Still it was a nice room and it has nice modern decor. My biggest complaint is that there is no place to hang towels not even hand towels and there's no closet or dressers for organizing suitcases and clothes. Having 7 people, each with their own luggage was a bit of a challenge to keep a space functional. Having two showers was nice but it would have been nicer to have two sink/mirrors I think. Getting ready in the morning was a juggling act. The beds were comfortable. The pullout sofa was not. It had a super thin mattress. We ended up putting couch cushions on top and it worked okay for our 2 teenage boys. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with plenty of options and space. They have a lot of yummy restaurants in the same parking lot. We ate a late dinner their several nights instead of paying for food in Disneyland. They do not offer a shuttle. You can pay to take the bus to Disneyland. We decided to walk each day. It was probably one of the furthest hotels about a mile walk each way. We did not use the pool as it was under maintenance (this was late January) but also it was not super warm and we spent all of our time at Disney. Glad we didn't pay an extra night for lounging and swimming. Would I stay here again? I might search for a hotel that was a little closer with a little more space for our large family but if the price isn't comparable I would just stay here again. It definitely was a good value for a big group.
Everything about this hotel is exceptional and family friendly!
Our family recently celebrated a graduation and the graduate really wanted to visit Disneyland! After a great deal of research, our family decided to utilize Get Away Today to book our trip. We purchased our discounted Disneyland tickets and our hotel via Get Away Today and we were positively satisfied with our accommodations at the Cambria Hotel in Anaheim! The hotel is extremely nice and perfectly located. Upon arrival, we were impressed by look of the hotel, the front entrance and the visually appealing hotel lobby. We were kindly greeted by a hotel team member (Guadalupe) and she professionally / expertly checked us in and explained everything that we needed to know in great detail. The front desk staff was kind and very positive! Parking was very easy to navigate and super secure! The layout of the hotel property is perfect and makes everything easy and seamless. The rooms were way more than we expected and we were all pleasantly surprised with the layout of the rooms. The suites are designed in a way that makes it the perfect choice for families. We were so happy with this hotel and we were glad that it was offered to us on the Get Away Today website. Everything about this hotel is exceptional and family friendly!
We’d highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.
Would definitely stay here again. This was our first ever visit to Disneyland and we chose this hotel based on a few things. Size of our family being at the top. The suite fit us all comfortably. We were very happy. Breakfast every morning was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and kind. They texted me less than 24 hours after checking in to see how we liked things or if we needed anything. I was able to text them multiple times during our stay for different needs and they were always quick to respond. We were very satisfied with our choice. We’d highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.
Good but lack of storage room
The family king suite lacks room to put your suitcases. You will end up using the sitting room.
Everything was great
Everything was great. Spacious room comforts bed. The pillows were not so comfortable nor was the couch. The couch was the most uncomfortable couch I have ever ever sat on.
Looking forward to our next stay!
The location was awesome, lots of places to eat in walking distance, parking was great, hotel amenities were outstanding, staff was very polite and accommodating, hotel is clean and new. Looking forward to our next stay!
Definitely recommend
The Cambria hotel was absolutely wonderful. All the things to do there were great. We enjoyed the pool area and the outdoor theater. Tha breakfast buffet was fantastic. Edith who took care of the tables was absolutely wonderful to us. The whole staff there was so helpful and accommodating to us. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again!
Would book here again
Great rate on a family suite that slept 2 adults and 5 kids. Perfect for our needs. Newer hotel, clean, good service. The free breakfast buffet was excellent and probably worth about $200 total to us over 4 days because of what we otherwise would have had to spend on breakfast. Quiet hotel and probably only half full at best in January. A bit far to walk to the park, but close to ART shuttle. Close to gas station, fast food. Free hotel parking. Nice outdoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. Would book here again.
Amazing!
Amazing staff super clean and friendly! The pool was amazing!
Good hotel but no storage
We were a party of 4 and stayed in a 6 person suite (2 queens + 1 sofa couch). Beds were comfortable, hotel a great location, hot tub was amazing and I loved that it was a large hot tub. My one reservation though is the complete lack of storage. I don't see how a party of 6 could stay in a room like this unless they were willing to use the floors for their luggage. Even as a party of 4, we had to drag in the coffee table into our room to hold luggage. Unfortunately, this was enough for me to decide not to use this hotel again. If they put dressers in the rooms (like any regular hotel room) then this hotel would work out just fine!
Great hotel and staff
Close to Disneyland. Love the options of the restaurants walking distance. They have a large space for breakfast. Disney merch for purchase in the lobby. You have to use your key card to go to your level floor. Great safety feature. The pool is super cool. It was cold and rainy so we just used the hot tub for a bit. Can't wait to go back in warm weather and get to use it. They do movies every night by the pool. The last day we were there our Uber driver refused to take us after seeing our three kids and luggage. The employee helping us with our bags was so kind and helpful making sure the driver was going to cancel the order so we didn't get charged. The manager saw it happen and came over and offered to take us to our next destination in multiple trips if we wanted. I had already booked another uber though. Then he gave our kids little toys while we waited. So kind!! The only problem we had was ants in our bathroom. They came and got them out. I would of preferred a new room, but it was Christmas and very busy. Overall I would recommend and stay here again.
Would definitely stay here again.
Large, clean room with amenities. Comfortable king sized bed. Wonderful hot and cold free breakfast! Great customer service. Loved the heated pool and other swimming options. Would definitely stay here again.
Great deal
The hotel offered a great deal for what we spent. Pros: -The lobby is beautiful -the hot daily breakfast is amazing (quite a production) -the heated pool and hot tub were lovely in all the weather -the bathroom, sofabed & kitchenette situation were ideal-elevators were plentiful and super fast -shower AND bath--plus large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash attached to the wall Cons: -very crowded--especially with kids -no storage for clothing (there is a wardrobe with hangers, but no drawers--hard for a family
Hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice.
Hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice.
Great
Breakfast was great, nice big area with lots of options. Great pool area, rooms are nice size and beds are comfortable.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel the sofa bed in the suites uncomfortable very disappointed and the carpet in the living room area stained and dirty
Loved our room
Very clean and well kept. Free hot breakfast was a bonus. Friendly staff. And we were given a room with an amazing view of Disneyland. We were able to view the fireworks right from our room.
Loved a lot, wish the breakfast was open longer
We loved the beds! Super comfy! We loved the heated pools! We loved the included hot breakfast! We loved the double showers in the rooms! They need to add some shower towel hooks and a hand towel hook. They also don’t do daily room cleaning g. That’s fine but we had to get our own towels and toilet paper our whole stay. We didn’t love the shuttle system to the park. It was honestly the worst part and why we would probably stay somewhere else next time. They also had a weird wrist band policy for at the pool and gym. It was annoying and they should figure out a way to show how many guest are allowed in that area with the room key or something. Also the rooms do not get very bright. The lighting is extremely low unless it’s broad daylight and you open the windows. The breakfast ends too early each day! You are forced to wake up early on vacation just to eat breakfast. Very hard to do with children after being in the park over and over and being exhausted. Breakfast should go until 11am.
Great room for our group
The hotel staff were very friendly and the room and accomodations met our needs. Our family liked the options with the double showers after a long day. Hotel was close enough to Disneyland to walk, but I would recommend using the shuttle as your feet can get very tired at the parks and the walk back to the hotel can be long. There is also a Starbucks and a few restaurants in the parking lot which were great options. Only downside from our stay is that the hotel is very close to the freeway and the noise was the worst!
Wonderful for a large family!
Cambria was a wonderful place to stay for a large family. Our conjoined rooms slept all 9 of us in beds. That is a rarity with hotels. The beds were very comfortable. And the continental breakfast was so varied with so many options. Everyone got full each morning.
Great stay overall
Great beds, two showers (one with tub and one stand-alone shower) free breakfast, within a short 5 minute walk to the Toy Story Parking Lot (free shuttle to Disney Parks). Would give 5 stars if the standard queen rooms had dresser drawer storage and daily housekeeping.
A good hotel choice
Overall, this hotel was a good choice. The only things I would change is to make the couch bed more comfortable. My son ended up putting the mattress from it on the floor because it was so awful. They also have some weird rules about food/drinks in the pool area. You have to buy it from them to take it to the pool, which was weird to me. But they did honor my request for a Disney view room on a high floor (we were on 10 of 12). The staff was very kind. Breakfast was mediocre.
Very nice overall
The staff were friendly and very helpful. I could hear sirens from the freeway one night that woke me up but no one else in our group woke up. The rooms were clean and nice with a refrigerator and microwave and 2 showers, which was great! The pool towels were really worn and rough & need to be replaced. The walk to Disneyland is a bit farther than I would like. The pool hours were nice. The hotel was very nice overall and had free full breakfast included.
Could not recommend more!
Fantastic hotel could not recommend more! Beds are comfortable which is important after a long day at Disneyland. Felt very secure, close places to eat, and staff was very helpful. The only feedback I would say is they are too high strung about the pool. You had to wear wristbands and if you misplaced them you could not go back to the pool, and they would not replace them. The pool area is nice, but I would not call a pool, a hot tub and 2 water slides a “water park”
Everything was clean and tidy

Amazing!
Professional and helpful staff, rooms clean, all areas amazing!
Clean - friendly service decent breakfast good location.

Nice hotel!
The hotel was actually nice. We were disappointed with the pull out bed in living room. The mattress was terrible! We had to shift around mattresses from the bedroom to living room to accommodate two adults and their baby. Overall it was great and would stay again if we didn’t have to use the couch bed. :)
Deserves all 5 stars and good reviews
Great hotel. It deserves all 5 stars and good reviews. Minor suggestions though. First we walked to Disneyland and as you exit the main doors you are forced to walk I to the road where cars are picking up and dropping off guests. This due to the valet booth. Why do you have to block off the area behind the valet booth? It would be nice to stay on the sidewalk with 5 kids. Second, not a complaint as we loved our room. Nice beds and really nice. Just not sure there is a way to situate the bunkers in another room with the couch so that parents have some privacy. Again, we booked because the many beds and it was great and knew what we signed up for but I missed some alone time with my spouse as kids were right there.
Made our trip even better
This was one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed in for a long time. The staff was amazing. I was traveling with 4 special needs kids and they was very helpful and understanding about the actions of my kids. And even called me after we returned home to check on a situation that happened to one of my kids and it had nothing to do with anything they did wrong. So that felt amazing that the worried about my way to take time out of their days to check on my kids even after we left them. Thanks so much for making are trip a little bit better.
Wonderful staff
The staff at the hotel was wonderful including the parking valet employees. They were polite and went the second mile to serve us. The hotel is nice, but our room had stains on the carpet. I called housekeeping to let them know. They were courteous, but never came to clean the stains on the carpet. The pull out sofa sleeper had a thin mattress that was uncomfortable for an adult especially. Perhaps children would find it comfortable enough. I loved the two showers in the bathroom. I liked that the hotel is fairly new. My four-star rating was given essentially for the very polite, helpful staff at the hotel.
We liked the hotel
We liked the hotel and the water slide and pools were fun. It was a challenge to get clean towels and toilet paper. You had to go to the service desk for those item. They were understaffed. Those who were there working were trying hard to do their job.
Great value!
The customer service was great. Our granddaughter loved the bunk beds and the family king suite is a great value. The location is perfect with many good restaurants a few steps away. We walked to a Disneyland and it was very safe and easy. Our only complaint is that the pull out sofa bed wasn’t comfortable but the king bed and bunk beds were very comfortable. The Mickey Mouse waffles were delicious. The eggs, sausage and potatoes weren’t hot enough but there were plenty of other options like cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries. We only used the water park once for a short time but it was nice. The hotel was also very clean. We would like to have used stairs but only elevators were available.
I have recommended this place, we will definitely book at the Cambria again
I read lots of reviews before I booked and was a little concerned about some of the negative comments. I was relieved when I got there and we saw things for ourselves. The front desk crew was very kind and helpful. I had read off comments about the security personnel. In my experience they were professional and were present but not overpowering. The room was very comfortable and access to and from the attractions was smooth, safe and reliable. I have recommended this place to my Children and their families and we will definitely book at The Cambria again.
Great and spacious!
In spite of COVID protocols, the hotel served a great breakfast! The family suite in which we stayed was spacious. Having a as full sized fridge made it easy to make lunches to take in a cooler to Disney and keep in a locker until lunchtime. The slides were shut down several times and pool area was a little crowded. Also, the hot tub isn’t a jacuzzi so there are no jets. My teenage son loved being able to play basketball during his down time.
Some issues
The handicap accessible shower had no shower curtain. I reported this the first day, 2nd day and upon checking out. My daughter was on crutches and slipped getting out of the shower because it was so wet on the floor. One of the towel bars was pulled out of the wall as well. Nothing was ever done to fix these issues while there.
Clean rooms and great breakfast
The rooms were clean. Being served for breakfast was great due to COVID rules. Having to wear a wristband that we couldn’t take off was an inconvenience.
Good, not great
The hotel was good but not great. Deffinatly did not feel new, carpets were stained and things just weren't as clean as we expected especially during covid. We ended up having to change rooms when we first arrived because the first one had issues. Breakfast was ok but not special. Beds were very comfortable which was good and two showers are a perk but one of them had poor water pressure. The pullout was not the greatest its mattress was just way to thin and it did not lay flat. Not good for an adult. I was really wanting to love this hotel because I absolutely love using Getaway today travel company, but this hotel was not worth the extra cost . We will not be using it again. Getaway today on the other hand was absolutely amazing as always, friendly service, best prices, awesome perks like reduced parking and lowest prices guaranteed.
So clean and spacious
The hotel was fantastic. Brand new, clean, spacious rooms! A bit of a walk to Disney but doable. Would stay here again!
Fantastic hotel for Disneyland

Definitely stay here
We loved this hotel. It was nice and clean and the outdoor amenities were great!!
We will return!
We loved staying at the Camdria. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was amazing and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. My girls can’t wait to stay there again!
We loved this hotel
Our room was comfortable and clean. I loved how we could just text the hotel staff if we needed anything. The breakfast buffet was good and offered not just scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, Mickey Mouse waffles, fruits, pastry, etc, but it also offered egg white scrambled eggs and chicken or turkey sausages. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I give this place 5 stars. There were only 2 small areas of improvement that would have made it perfect. 1: two toilets. We had seven in a room and only one toilet. But there were two showers in the bathroom which was nice. 2. No trash bags. We stayed for 6 days with 7 people and the trash cans were small. However, whenever we texted the staff about the trash, they came right up. In addition, to the great service, the hotel is about a 22 minute walk to Disneyland. It was nothing for my 45 year old self and 6 teenagers to walk. I will definitely return to this hotel. I hope they keep up with the great service!
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
We absolutely LOVED this place. Right on the shuttle line - runs every 20 minutes. Breakfast is GREAT. Bathroom includes a tub with a separate room with toilet and shower. The plaza it stands on also has an array of restaurants - Ono Hawaiian BBQ(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) , The Habit, Starbucks and a few others. The pool area is EXCITING and FUN looking (we did't swim) And they will hold your luggage if you can't check in yet. I thought it was strange there we no garbage bags - but the hotel is GREEN. I loved that they had plastic laundry bags to put my dirty clothes in since forgot some. I wish I could give it a 10! But too far a walk to Disneyland - over 1.3 miles.
Texting staff is convenient!

Great hotel
We loved this hotel. It was nice and clean and the outdoor amenities were great!!
Amazing breakfast
I loved almost everything about my stay at the Cambria! The staff were helpful and readily available. The beds were super comfortable. I loved that they had refillable toiletries instead of wasting single use containers. Breakfast was great, with every option we could want - they offered both reusable and disposable flatware and cutlery, which suited our varying needs. My kids loved the Mickey mouse waffles every morning, and the water park had something for everyone!
Clean and convenient
The Cambria was beautiful! Helpful staff, clean spacious room, fun and well kept pool area, and convenient to Disney with shuttle. I would suggest more hooks in the rooms. The included hot breakfast exceeded any expectation. Delicious!
Good except for valet parking
Extremely clean, pool area was amazing, excellent breakfast. The only thing that we did not like was the parking situation. Everyone is forced to valet park and it is a real hassle to get anything out of your car. Each time you need help to take your car, you feel obligated to tip as you leave and return. Everything else was FANTASTIC.
We'll return next time!
This hotel was amazing! It was brand new maybe had been open two weeks and we were a little worried they were still trying to work out the kinks. But this hotel had amazing breakfast, staff is super friendly, and the bed was honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in a hotel. Our kids loved the pools, hot tubs and waterslides. We will stay here every time we go to Disneyland.
3 Star Hotel
It's a 3 star hotel, so it is. Nothing spectacular, except for a small water park - which is nice! compensated by price of the room and especially the price of drinks in the bar. Walkable to the DL, it's a plus. I got a room facing I-5 = noise! That's a minus. YMMV. Breakfast is comparable to HIE, except that they have waffle-making machines in the shape of Mickey - nice touch!
Use Lyft instead of ART
The hotel was great. We had the King suite. The room was clean and comfortable. Has two showers which was perfect for my family. When we noticed one shower wasn’t working correctly the hotel staff acted quickly. The kids loved the breakfast buffet. The one downfall to this hotel was they do not have their own shuttle and the ART bus line does not give exact times to pick ups. We ended up using Lyft a couple times. Other than that it was a beautiful, clean and very friendly place to call home for time.
So clean and new!
Excellent!! Everything was clean and modern! Staff was very nice and helpful! Breakfast was great with plenty of seating. Must be 48" to ride the slide and adults can't take smaller kids..that was a little disappointing for my kids, but overall the pool area is awesome. Pool was nice and warm!
Great customer service!
Cambria is a beautiful and modern brand new hotel just a couple of blocks from Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Our family of 3 adults and 4 children booked with them online as part of a package including Disneyland tickets. As soon as we pulled in we were greeted with a smile from Mark who was lovely, kind, and so helpful and assisted us with our luggage and parking situation. When we walked into the gorgeous and spacious lobby there was another warm smile from wonderful Joan, the front desk assistant who was so patient, kind, and understanding and helped confirm everything we needed and answered all our questions regarding the trip. I also loved the fact that we were able to correspond with the front desk through text which made things a little smoother and easier for us. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed and was great fun for the kids because of the bunk beds. The free Wifi (which actually worked the whole time we were there) and complimentary breakfast was just another added bonus! Any other request we had was completed in a timely manner which we really appreciated given that we had children with us and a limited time for our trip. Overall, it was a great time and was made much better with the help of all the staff at Cambria and we are so grateful for their understanding given the fact we had a bunch of kids with us! I would definitely recommend to stay here if you want to relax and have a worry free trip!
Okay location, great hotel
This isn't the closest you'll get to Disneyland, but it's a really great hotel. You can take ART shuttle from the hotel to the parks, though. The waterpark and the separate bedrooms really make it a good choice for us. Liked having a mini fridge and microwave in the room, too.
Really fresh
Loved this new hotel. It's great when everything feels fresh and new. The water park is amazing.
