Convenient location right into the park. So great for families with children. After a long day at the park you are at your hotel quickly. We took a break during the day and napped in our room, which was awesome. It is expensive but so worth the location to the parks. We would stay there again.

Everything was stellar!

This hotel was worth the money! The extra help at check-in, bell services meeting at our car as soon as we drove up, our luggage held, then delivered to our room right away was wonderful. The hotel was gorgeous, so well themed and decorated. Live music in the lobby. Room was clean and housekeeping every day and a turn down service. My only complaint is that I did not care for the shampoo, the smell was nice but it was not a good cleansing shower.

From beginning to end our trip was exceptional! Services provided were on another level. We were greeted everywhere in hotel and given a multitude of tips about what to do and see. Our room was very very quiet and with a toddler that was important to us. Our party had an adjoining door between rooms which made it so much easier for care of child. The crib we requested came immediately upon our arrival! We were on ground level and had little private patios off our rooms which child enjoyed. The lobby area was so beautiful and a trick-or-treating event for hotel guests was fun for little ones. We enjoyed the pool area and meals at Craftsman Grill near pool area. Very good food! Overall I have nothing but praise for Grand Californian and that is due in great part to the staff. Would stay again and highly recommend.

I have stayed here twice in two different room types. I will stay here whenever I can afford it... it's definitely worth the cost! From the hidden touches in the carpets to the majestic lobby to the can't-beat convenience into the California Adventure park and proximity to the Disneyland park, this Hotel hits every spot on my list. The beds are so comfortable I called back a while after my trip was over and asked them what the mattress was and they told me how to order one, so I did! And my mattress tag even says "Disney" on it! Amazing hotel and cast members :)

Love this hotel. It is a bit expensive but so beautiful and takes you right into the park. We will always stay here.
