I love everything about this hotel! The Mary Poppins themed rooms are beautiful and I love the level of detail and thought they put into the decor. The in house piano player was a great way to be welcomed to the resort’s lobby. I especially loved having an area to view fireworks and the short walk over to Magic Kingdom.

Wow - Amazing property! So upscale and luxurious Victorian charm. Definitely earned it’s 5 stars in every sense. Enjoyed taking the monorail back to this resort, sitting in one of the many relaxing lounges, enjoying a cold drink and bite to eat, and listening to the live piano music in the lobby. Everywhere you go at this resort your jaw drops at the grandeur of everything. Well themed after the Hotel del Coronado in California as well as the Victorian-era beach resorts along the east coast beaches in the 19th century, this resort evokes the same awe and wonder. The pools were so much fun - Loved the water slides and kids loved the themed Splash Pad! So convenient to Magic Kingdom - we could walk 10 minutes or use the Monorail. Large, well appointed rooms. Beautiful, upscale dining options. Christmas time is absolutely Magical at this resort! Giant Gingerbread house, Giant Christmas trees, live music, it has it all! The Mary Poppins themed rooms are super Classy and the Cutest!

I loved staying at this Resort! The lobby is beautiful and elegant. It is especially impressive during the holiday season with an enormous tree and gingerbread house. My family loved the size of our room. We had two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. We had wonderful poolside service. We loved grabbing dinner from the Gasparilla Island Grill and watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the outdoor seating area. The Grand Floridian Cafe was also a wonderful option for breakfast and dinner. Transportation to the parks was easy with a walking path, monorail, or boat to the Magic Kingdom and monorail service to EPCOT. I had a fantastic massage at the Grand Floridian Spa!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like the most upscale of all the resorts and it’s so elegant. The shopping and dining at this resort is so great and every inch of the hotel is just so pretty! I really love the Alice in Wonderland themed pool area and I love that it has monorail and boat access. It is also so fun to be able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Grand Floridian viewing area or the beach.

This hotel makes you feel like you are staying at a luxury resort, probably because you are. The lobby is one of my favorites, and it smells SO GOOD. (That might be weird to say, but it does and you can buy the actual scent.) The beds are very comfortable and I love that they sleep up to five. The rooms were recently renovated and they are the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen. I would TOTALLY live there if I could. They are bright and have the most tasteful Mary Poppins touches - practically perfect in every way. I also highly recommend eating at Narcoossee's and try to time it with the Electrical Water Pageant and the Fireworks. You have an awesome view of both, and the food is delicious! The location is awesome and can’t be beat.

Our flight landed in the middle of the night, so it was 1:00 AM when we arrived at the Grand Floridian for our stay at Walt Disney World. We had the whole lobby to ourselves and it was breathtakingly beautiful! We were so excited to begin our stay there. The Marry Poppins themed rooms were the Cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Such attention to detail: glass penguin sculpture in the chandelier in the room, the vanity outside of the bathroom area as an extra added space to get ready in the mornings, a closet tucked away next to the beds instead of the entrance way, and of course the raised beds for additional added storage. Loved this room! This resort hotel has one of the Best Firework viewing locations over the lake next to the Boat launch pick-up for the Magic Kingdom theme park (they even piped in the music for us). The Firework View rooms were directly behind/above us from this viewing point. We also loved staying in the Magic Kingdom Area of the Resort and seeing the Cinderella Castle everyday of our stay. There is a monorail entrance in the resort that takes you to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Near the lobby, there is also a shuttle bus stop to take you to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. There is a ferry boat that can also take you to and from Magic Kingdom. That was a special treat being able to sail through the Seven Seas Lagoon to go to a theme park. We enjoyed the food at the quick service restaurant called Gasparilla Island Grill. We were also happy that we were able to make a reservation for The Grand Floridian Cafe. It was fun to spot the subtle Disney theming in that restaurant as well. During Easter time, they have giant painted Disney Easter Eggs in the lobby that are amazing to see! It was also fun to be able to walk down a walking path to the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to walk around their grounds.
