captured the Hawaiian culture feel and even the story telling
Hawaii anyone? Loved this resort! Fun, relaxing, laid back Hawaiian vibe atmosphere. They definitely captured the Hawaiian culture feel and even the story telling (did you know the second level rooms of the entire hotel does not have balconies due to Urban Legend of pillagers invading the islands in ancient times and the islander’s efforts discouraging them entrance into their raised huts?) . Great pool area with fun waterslides. Loved being able to get a Dole Whip right by the pool anytime I wanted, and Loved the community feel lounging out on the grass in the commons area with other hotel guests. Great place for our kids to play and make some new friends during our stay! Such a great location to Magic Kingdom theme park. I loved being able to walk right onto the Monorail train from my resort hotel to get to Magic Kingdom and super easy access to Epcot from the Monorail as well. Love I can simply roll my stroller with my kids still in it right onto the Monorail: So Easy! The water taxi boats over to Magic Kingdom from this resort were so much fun and super convenient as well. The theming of the whole resort and rooms were spot on. Loved being able to watch the Fireworks from Magic Kingdom right from our Resort hotel - they even played the music to go along with the fireworks at our hotel! I also have a special Love of the Classics - this Deluxe Disney Resort hotel is another one of the Classic original Disney World resort hotels (along with the Contemporary resort). Loved staying here for this reason as well :)
Two showers!
I loved our stay at the Polynesian Resort in a Deluxe Studio! These rooms are huge! We had two queen beds and a child size pull down. The kitchenette area with a microwave was really convenient. We LOVED that these rooms had two showers! In one room you have a walk-in shower with vanity, then in a separate room you have a tub/shower combo and toilet. It was so easy for everyone to get ready. The monorail access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT were great too. We were in the Pago Pago building and it was a quick walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center to board the EPCOT monorail. We will definitely stay here again!
