A Disneyland vacation is a special occasion with incredible attractions, unparalleled entertainment, and immersive experiences that you can't find anywhere else. It is magical for families, fun for friends, and romantic for couples. Not to mention, this year is the Diamond Celebration, and what is more romantic than diamonds? With so many Happily Ever Afters, it's no wonder that Disneyland is a popular destination for proposals, weddings, anniversaries and honeymoons. Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to highlight some splurges for couples that can make an amazing vacation even more special. If you're looking for something to take your romantic Disneyland vacation to that next level and have some incredible once-in-a-lifetime experiences, here are my top 3 Disneyland splurges for couples:

Paint the Night Parade Dinner Package: The Paint the Night Parade has been the highlight of the Diamond Celebration, and now you can watch it with VIP viewing with exclusive dining packages at the Blue Bayou. This dining package gives the term dinner and a show a whole new meaning. Make your reservation for the dining package and order from a gourmet three-course prix fixe menu. Starters include choices like gumbo and shrimp boil cocktail, and desserts include creme brulee and a decadent chocolate cake. Choose from a wide range of entrees including Jambalaya, rack of lamb, and a surf & turf featuring filet mignon and lobster tail. Each meal is $62, not including tax and gratuity, and reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Once you've paid your bill, you'll receive a ticket directing you to your reserved area on Main Street U.S.A.. 30 minutes prior to the parade beginning. After the parade passes by, you'll have the option to move into the street to watch the Disneyland Forever fireworks. It is truly a fairy tale ending to a perfect day at Disneyland.

Dinner at Napa Rose: If you're looking for a romantic dinner, there are few that compare to Napa Rose, the award-winning restaurant tucked away in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This restaurant is just the place for a special night out. For a real treat, order the Vitner's Table menu, a carefully selected and ever changing four course prix fixe menu crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients. This special menu is around $100 per person. Wine pairings from their impressive cellar can be added for an additional cost. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, and they do fill quickly.

Couples Massage at Mandara Spa: There's no better way to unwind after walking through Sleeping Beauty Castle, snuggling close to "Kiss the Girl" on The Little Mermaid, or watching World of Color - Celebrate! than with a couples massage at Mandara Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. End your vacation relaxed and rejuvenated with a couples spa treatment at one of of nicest spas in the area, and the only one at the Disneyland Resort.

Of course a romantic Disneyland vacation starts with where you decide to stay. For the ultimate romantic splurge we recommend staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel where you'll be spoiled with a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park (exclusive only to Grand Califonian guests), luxurious guest rooms, a cozy fireplace in the grand lobby, and early entry into Disney California Adventure or Disneyland each day of your stay. Or, check out our list of the 10 Most Romantic Hotels Near Disneyland. Either way, you're sure to have a wonderful vacation!
