Disney Princess Mad Libs For Your Road Trip

If your family is anything like mine on road trips, you know that kids get a little bit silly in the car. I think it is the combination of sweet snacks and seat belts that do it to us every time. With Spring Break just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to create another family friendly road trip activity to help transform those silly moments into truly memorable ones - no screen required! Create your own magical Disney tales with these fill-in-the-blank Mad Lib Princess Story Templates. They are always a laugh and perfect for in-vehicle entertainment.

There are five different templates available to download. I suggest printing all five, perhaps even more than one of each. Once your kids start filling in the blanks and creating their own silly stories, they won't want to stop.

To play, let one person be the scribe. He or she will need a pen or pencil to fill in the places on the template that are left blank. The scribe is the only person who knows what the story is about. Don't let any of the other players see the paper. It will spoil the fun. The scribe will guide the other players through the story using the template as a guide.

All of the Mad Lib stories have missing words in them. There are black spaces on the paper with a description of the type of word that belongs in that spot.

The missing words can be nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, numbers, body parts, emotions, etc. The scribe works through the story telling the other players what types of words to make up.

Once the story is complete with all of the blank spaces filled in, the scribe reads the silly tale to the group. It is always fun to see what kind of crazy adventure the group invents.

I hope this activity makes your Spring Break travel fun and festive as you head to the Disneyland Resort. This Spring Break at the Disneyland Resort is one that is guaranteed to be unlike any other. It's the last Spring Break season you'll be able to experience the Diamond Celebration with the dazzling diamond Sleeping Beauty Castle, Paint the Night Parade, World of Color - Celebrate!, and the Disneyland Forever fireworks. It also may be the only Spring Break season where you'll be immersed in the worlds of Star Wars with Season of the Force at Tomorowland. You won't want to miss it!

At Get Away Today, we think the vacation fun begins from the moment you start planning with us. The only thing more fun than booking a Disneyland vacation is getting the best deal on one. Get an Extra Day Free on 4-day Park Hopper tickets so you have enough time to do it all, and get a 4th night free at select Anaheim area hotels.
