The Get Away Today staff is making their way all around Southern California visiting our top hotel and attraction partners!  Here is a brief update on what they've been doing:

Our team flew into LAX on Friday morning and headed to Universal Studios Hollywood where they were treated like true VIPs. Check out some of the fun we had:

Our group was able to get the VIP Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. Here we are in our private shuttle.

As part of the tour we got to explore the sets - including City Hall, which has been used in too many shows and movies to count!

Here we are in Little Italy - this set has been used for numerous scenes depicting Europe.

We even got to go inside the set of NBC's Parenthood with our private tour guide.

This might not look exciting....yet. You are looking at the future Wizarding World of Harry Potter! We can't wait!

As part of the VIP Tour Experience at Universal, you also get a Front of the Line Pass to use as often as you'd like on each Universal attraction. Here are some of our agents getting ready for Shrek 4-D.

The best part is, you don't have to work for Get Away Today or star in a movie to get the VIP treatment at Universal. We have special Universal Studios Hollywood VIP Experience tickets available, as well as Front of the Line Tickets and discount one and two-day admission tickets.

To finish the night, we stayed at the gorgeous Sheraton Universal Hotel. It is so awesome to be so close to your hotel after a day of fun at Universal. Plus, the Sheraton's Sweet Sleeper Beds are incredible.

We woke up Saturday morning and made our way to Anaheim where we visited the first of our area hotel partners. We toured the Ramada Plaza Anaheim, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort - Convention, Hotel Menage, Portofino Hotel & Suites, Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott, and Anaheim Fairfield Inn & Suites to name a few.

We also visited the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites, which is a super popular choice for families. They offer a wide range of room types for groups of all sizes, serve a hot breakfast buffet each morning and are located within walking distance to the Disneyland Resort. And yes... they really do make towel animals for their guests!

We also got to visit the newly remodeled Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, which looks amazing. We offer their standard rooms and their one-bedroom suites, which are both great choices. Suites come equipped with a microwave and mini fridge, and you can request them for your standard room for $10 each/night. They even have some fun Princess themed rooms available for a slight upgrade - just ask our Reservation Experts about it! One other awesome point about this hotel is its location... just two blocks from the main gates of the Disneyland Resort!

One of our most memorable stops was at the NEW Anaheim Springhill Suites by Marriott. How new is it? We think this picture gives you an idea, but we were their first visitors! We had such a warm welcome, complete with a toast to a long relationship. Their new guestrooms will feature all of the amenities you need to make you feel at home and a free breakfast each morning. The new Springhill Suites will welcome their first overnight guests in February and Get Away Today guests get an exclusive 4th night free!

We also got to visit these sister hotels, which are always at the top of our list; the Staybridge Suites Anaheim Resort and the Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort. The Staybridge is an all-suite hotel that offers full kitchens in the rooms. They offer a free hot breakfast buffet each morning and a manager's reception Tues - Thurs nights. It's awesome. The Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort offer a free cook-to-order breakfast daily exclusively to Get Away Today guests - just pay gratuity! Both hotels share one of the largest pool areas in Anaheim and they offer a 4th night free at select times during the year. You can't go wrong with either of these great partner hotels!

We then made the short shuttle ride to the Disneyland Resort to check-in to our hotel. As if checking into the Disneyland Hotel isn't magical enough, this is what greeted us outside... a real-life fairytale wedding!

We ended the night with dinner at Napa Rose and then watching Fantasmic! at Disneyland. It was a truly magical day!
