Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center Review

Finding the right hotel for your Disneyland vacation is a big deal and we're here to help. Not only do we have the best prices on Anaheim area hotels, our agents know our hotels inside and out. Our team visits Anaheim at least once a year to tour all of our properties. Additionally, our agents stay at these hotels for their own vacations throughout the year. The Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort/Convention Center always tops the list of Anaheim area hotel favorites.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect to find at the Springhill Suites at Anaheim Convention Center:

Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center Review - Location:

Because there are two Springhill Suites near Disneyland that are fairly newer properties, I thought it would be best to start with location first. The Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is the closer of the two Springhill Suites in the area. It is located on Harbor Boulevard, right on the corner of Katella Avenue. If you are familiar with the area, you'll know that all you have to do is cross the street (Katella) and keep walking along Harbor Boulevard. Before you know it, you'll be at the pedestrian entrance to the Disneyland Resort. From the time you leave the hotel to the time you get to through security and to Disneyland's front gate, you'll have walked just over half a mile.

If walking after a long day at the parks seems like a lot, you can use the Anaheim Resort Transit, or ART, shuttle service which runs regularly throughout the day. You can get discounted ART tickets through Get Away Today.

In addition to being so close to Disneyland, this Springhill Suites is located centrally between the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Garden Walk. The Garden Walk has great restaurants and shopping. You're just a 5 minute walk to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., The Cheesecake Factory and more. You can also find unique experiences like an escape room and the House of Blues Anaheim.

If being so close to so many dining and entertainment options isn't enough, the hotel has a full CVS Pharmacy on the ground floor. Talk about convenient! Anything you could possibly need from sunscreen to Tylenol is just steps from your room. Speaking of rooms...

Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center Review - Rooms:

There are two main room types at the Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center. Both are incredibly comfortable and offer the same amenities. The difference between the room types is their bedding options.

The most common room type is the standard studio suite. It comes with two queen beds and a sofa bed. This room comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The second room type is the super popular kids' studio suite. Like the standard studio suite, this room comes with two queen beds, but it also comes with a sofa bed and a set of bunk beds. This room type sleeps up to seven guests and is a perfect choice for families with small kids. It's important to note that both room types are considered studio suites. This means that although there is a separated living room area, it is not completely closed off with a door or dividing wall. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a hotel that offers more privacy. If you want privacy, this is probably not your best choice.

With that said, the rooms at the Springhill Suites at the Anaheim Resort are incredibly roomy and comfortable. The beds are all the Courtyard by Marriott's signature bedding that is so comfortable, you can buy it online on Shop Courtyard. You can totally feel like you're still on vacation at home. And, all of the rooms at the Springhill Suites have a coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. Having an in-room area to store and reheat food makes it so easy for families.

Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center Review - Amenities:

The Springhill Suites has an awesome full breakfast daily. There is a wide range of breakfast offerings. You can expect to find breakfast standards like cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit and more daily. You'll also normally have your choice of two hot items that are rotated so you don't have the same breakfast every day. For example, one day there may be bacon and biscuits and gravy. The next day there may be hash browns and scrambled eggs, just to keep it interesting. Regardless, your free breakfast options at the Springhill Suites are sure to get your day off on the right foot.

Another huge perk of staying at the Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center is the swimming pool. As far as hotel pools go, it's not that big, but it's pretty great. It's a rooftop pool, which in and of itself is awesome. But, the fact that you can see the Disneyland fireworks from it on fireworks nights makes it even better! There is plenty of seating around the pool and it feels like a cool gathering place.

One other nice thing about booking your stay at the Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center with Get Away Today is you get a discount on your parking. Parking charges at the hotels near Disneyland are becoming more and more common, not to mention, more and more expensive. Because of its killer location, parking at the Springhill Suites is $20 per night. When you book with Get Away Today, you only pay $10 per night - that's half off! While we don't love parking fees, the fact that you can pay $10 at your hotel and be within walking distance to so many locations that charge way more than that for parking puts things into perspective.
