Park Place Inn Anaheim Review
Our team regularly visits our partnered hotels in the Disneyland Resort Area. We spend days touring the hotels in Anaheim and beyond. Situated along a string of hotels on Harbor Boulevard is the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn Anaheim, and it's always a staff stand-out. We'll break down what we like about the rooms, features, amenities and perhaps best of all, the location.
Park Place Inn Anaheim Review - Rooms:
There are three different room types at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn that we sell. The first two are standard rooms; one with two double beds and one with two queen beds. If you're traveling with small kids, you may want to save a little cash and go with the two doubles. If your kids are older, you'll likely want to make sure you book the standard room with two queen beds. Or, better yet, choose the third option, a mini suite. The mini suites at the Park Place Inn come with two double beds, but they also include a sofa bed. Plus, you'll have just a little more space in the room.
No matter which room type you choose, all of the rooms at the Park Place Inn come with a microwave and mini fridge. It makes keeping snacks on-hand a breeze. Plus, all of the rooms at the Park Place Inn were recently renovated and they are beautiful. It feels like a brand new hotel. I also personally appreciate that most of their guest rooms have the vanity located outside the bathroom. It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier.
Park Place Inn Anaheim Review - Amenities:
Although not a huge hotel, the Park Place Inn has everything you need and more. The hotel offers onsite parking for $10 per night. It's way cheaper than parking at Disney, and it's way less hassle to get there in the morning too! They have free WiFi available in all guest rooms, a gift shop on-site and even laundry facilities available. Their outdoor pool is heated yearround and the hottub is covered.

Park Place Inn Anaheim Review - Dining:
Another huge perk of staying at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn Anaheim is their free breakfast. They serve a standard continental breakfast with rotating hot items as well. If you don't have time to sit and enjoy breakfast, they also offer a grab-n-go option. Their grab-n-go breakfast bags come with a granola bar, bottled water and piece of fruit. It's just the right amount to get you going in the morning.
If you're looking for lunch or dinner, the hotel is located right next to a large selection of restaurants. There is a McDonald's, Captain Kidd's Family Dining, Panera Bread, Mimi's Cafe, IHOP, Tony Roma's, Cold Stone Creamery and Denny's all within a couple minutes walking distance. You're also of course within walking distance to Downtown Disney with its array of kiosks, quick service restaruants and full service table restaurants as well.
Park Place Inn Anaheim Review - Location:
One of the most popular places to stay is along Harbor Boulevard because it is directly across from the main entrance to the Disneyland Resort. The Park Place Inn is situated as close to the crosswalk to the main gate as possible, making it one of the shortest walks to Disneyland. Some even argue that staying at the Park Place Inn Anaheim is closer and an easier walk than staying at some of the Disney properties.
We already covered in the dining section of how many restaurants are within walking distance to the Park Place Inn Anaheim, so I hope you can tell that it's an incredibly convenient location. It's also important to remember that Anaheim in general is central to so many other attractions. When you stay at the Park Place Inn, you're about a 10 minute drive to Knott's Berry Farm, about 20 minutes to Orange County's famed beaches and around an hour drive (pending traffic) to Universal Studios Hollywood. Not to mention, you're about an hour north of LEGOLAND and approximately 90 minutes north of San Diego. Anaheim makes the perfect home base for any Southern California vacation.
Park Place Inn Anaheim Review - Wrap-up:
Overall, the Park Place Inn Anaheim is an ideal choice for anyone who is looking for one of the most convenient places to stay for Disneyland. If you're planning on spending two or more days at the parks - we highly recommend at least three days - you'll want to be as close to the parks as possible. The Park Place Inn is also a good choice for someone who doesn't neccessarily want to spend a lot of time at the hotel, but when they do spend time there, they know it's clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a resort type feel, this isn't your hotel. If you're planning on spending the majority of your time at Disneyland, the Park Place should be at the top of a very short list.
Additionally, the Park Place Inn is a great place for anyone looking to save some money. Between the money that you'll save on breakfast and either parking and/or transporation to and from the parks each morning, you're looking at a substantial amount of savings.
