Maybe you’ve been to Walt Disney World’s version of Pandora and experienced an introduction to the land that once was only alive in the Avatar films.

Since that time, so much has been added—including a new Avatar land coming to Disneyland Resort.

When we first saw Avatar come to life at Walt Disney World, Imagineer Joe Rhode as well as the creator and director of the original Avatar movie were both involved in the development.

We have no doubt that another star-studded team will be on site at Disneyland Resort to bring to life another Avatar experience.

Expect uniqueness, immersive experience and a completely new view of the film franchise at Disney California Adventure Park.

This entire area will be custom-designed new views, new space and new rides only at California Adventure Park.

The ensemble of designers, engineers and robotic techs are on hand to create a world that James Cameron once only dreamed of back in 1995.

To enter this incredible landscape you can enter from Buena Vista Street or Avengers Campus. Follow the path into the park and go left into Hollywood Land and the space formerly home to Monsters, Inc Mike & Sulley to the Rescue.

The Walt Disney Company is known for telling amazing stories. It only makes sense to encompass the storyline of “Avatar: The Way of Water” into Disneyland Resort.

While Walt Disney World has Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey, Disneyland Resort will get something entirely different!

This new and thrilling ride will bring all the action, excitement, and wonder of Avatar, taking guests all the way to the wide-open seas of Pandora.
