WHO NEEDS A DINING PLAN:

Once you’ve decided to add a Disney Dining Plan to your trip, we can help you sort out all the details. Everyone in your party ages 3 and over will need a Dining Plan.

WHAT FOOD IS INCLUDED:

Dining plans include 1 resort-refillable drink mug and a set number of meals and snacks based on the number of nights of your resort stay. You’ll have access to snacks and meals for the duration of your stay.

Unused meals roll over day-to-day until midnight on your check-out day. You are not limited to a specific number of meals per day. You can mix and bundle your meals to fit your schedule—it really is that flexible!

WHAT TYPES OF DINING PLANS ARE AVAILABLE:

The Disney Dining Plan continues to evolve based on what families want. Currently, we can add these dining plans to your vacation.

• Quick-Service Dining Plan (flexible, no dining reservations needed)

The quick service plan is perfect for families who don’t want to slow down with dining reservations and prefer to do quicker meals or mobile order. It’s also the most affordable Disney Dining Plan to add to your stay.

It comes with:

• 2 Quick Service Meals per person, per night
• 1 Snack or Non-Alcoholic Beverage per person, per night
• 1 Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person

The table service plan is great for families who want to mix up their experiences with some quick service meals and a sit down restaurant or two during their trip.

It comes with:

• 1 Table Service Meal per person, per night
• 1 Quick Service Meals per person, per night
• 1 Snack or Non-Alcoholic Beverage per person, per night
• 1 Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person

Table-service meals are restaurants where you are seated and served. Reservations are  recommended and since you are staying at a Disney resort, you have first access to book your dining reservations. You can reserve your spot up to  60 days in advance of your check-in day, for the entire length of your stay.

For those staying at a Walt Disney World Moderate or Deluxe Properties, you’ll also have access to table service options onsite at your hotel for the ultimate convenience factor.

Question: How much is the Disney Dining Plan?

Answer: In 2026, guests staying at one of more than 25 Disney Resort hotels will get a free dining plan for their kids (ages 3 to 9) when purchasing a dining plan as part of their package for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up)!

In addition to the meals and snacks, as noted above, each guest will get a refillable mug to use at their Walt Disney World Resort for soda, water, coffee, etc. These cannot be used in theme parks or water parks but are a great way to fill up during downtime or while you’re on your way to the parks.

Question: How much will I save by adding a Dining Plan?

Answer: If you’re traveling in 2027, save up to 20% on dining for kids (ages 3 to 9) when you purchase a package that includes a dining plan for your family.

Savings compared to the nondiscounted price of menu items available to kids ages 3 to 9 at participating locations when purchased without a dining plan. Actual savings vary based on menu items ordered.

Answer: Walt Disney World offers three Dining Plan options: the Quick-Service Dining Plan, Table-Service Dining Plan and Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan.

Question: Where can I use the Disney Dining Plan?

Question: How do I use the Disney Dining Plan?

Answer: You will receive your full allotment of snack and meal credits the day you check in and can start chowing down right then! You can keep track of your credits in the My Disney Experience app. It’s up to you if you want to use all of your credits the first day or spread them out throughout your visit. The only thing to note is they must all be used by midnight the day of check out.

Redeem your credits by tapping your MagicBand or complimentary Key to the World Card as you pay for your meal. You can also use the Dining Plan for Mobile Orders.

Question: Is the Disney Dining Plan worth it?

Answer: Dining Plans are convenient and prepaid! We love the convenience factor and how it makes budgeting for your Walt Disney World vacation so much easier. Whether or not the actual dollar amount will be worth it will vary from family to family and depend on your dining style.

Question: Are tips included in the Dining Plan?

Answer: No, gratuities and tips are not included. This only applies when you’re dining at a Table Service location. It’s also important to know that Disney automatically charges parties of 6 or more 18% in gratuities which will be shown on your final bill.

Question: How do I keep track of how many meals and snacks I have left on my Dining Plan?

Answer: Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout.

Here are 3 easy ways to track your dining plan meals and snacks:

1. Use the My Disney Experience app. Visit the “My Resort Stay” section, then select “Check Dining Plan” to view the status of your meals and snacks—total issued, already redeemed and still available.
2. Check your most recent dining receipt.
3. Visit your Resort Concierge or any Guest Relations location and ask about your remaining meals and snacks.

Question: What is considered a snack in the Disney Dining Plan?

Answer: At quick-service restaurants, most outdoor carts and select merchandise locations, snacks may include a single serving of items such as:

• Frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
• 2 scoops of hand-scooped ice cream
• Popcorn scoop (single-serving box)
• Piece of whole fruit
• Single-serve bag of snacks
• 20-ounce bottle of Coca-Cola® products, including Dasani® water
• 20-ounce fountain soft drink
• Single-serve coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, milk or juice
• Cup of soup

The following are not included in the snack credits:

• Items that are more than a single serving (such as a box of donuts or a jar of peanut butter)
• Items that are served in a souvenir container (such as popcorn or drinks)
• Items considered to be merchandise (such as bottle toppers, glow cubes and bottle straps)

Question: Any secrets for using the Disney Dining Plan effectively?

Answer: Yes, and you know we love sharing Disney secrets. The Disney Dining Plan allows you to trade up! For example, two table service credits can be used at dinner shows like the Hoop De Doo Musical Review.

We also love using last minute snack credits for things like rice krispy treats and Goofy's candy to bring home or eat at the airport.

There are also some very important things to note when you choose this Dining Plan which we have outlined below.

• Reservations at Table-Service restaurants are subject to availability and are highly recommended.
• Two table-service meals will be redeemed from the dining plan for each person dining at a Fine/Signature Dining experience, select Character Dining experience or a Dinner Show.
• Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available.
• Your Disney Dining Plan must be purchased for the entire length of stay and for your entire party (ages 3 and up).

If you book a 4-night package with a Disney Dining Plan, each guest (ages 3 and up) in your party will receive 4 Table-Service meals, 4 Quick-Service meals and 4 snacks or nonalcoholic beverages. These dining “credits” can be used at any time during your 4-night stay. Unused “credits” will also roll over during your stay. Any unused snacks and meals expire at midnight on the day of checkout.
