Explore Disneyland® Land by Land
Welcome to the Get Away Today guide where we explore Disneyland® land by land, ride by ride, shop by shop and restaurant by restaurant. It’s all covered here, along with a quick overview of entertainment, discount tickets and other things you need to know to plan your Disneyland® days.
The Disneyland® Resort Overview
Let’s start with an overview of the entire resort to help you gain a sense of the happiest vacation destination on earth.
Admission is required to access the parks at the Disneyland® Resort. The best ticket option is a Park Hopper® Ticket, which allows admission to both Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park on the same day.
Three fantastic hotels are also part of the Disneyland® Resort:
- Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- The Disneyland® Hotel and Villas
- Pixar Place Hotel
Each Disney Hotel is located on-property at the Disneyland® Resort and offers unique theming, comfortable accommodations, exclusive perks, and most importantly, Disney magic all around.
Downtown Disney District features plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Admission is not required for the Downtown Disney District and you can get parking validation at select table service restaurants and/or with a minimum spend at select shopping locations.
You'll want to make sure that you allow plenty of time to experience all that there is to do at the Disneyland® Resort. We recommend at least a three day Park Hopper® ticket, but suggest even longer for a more flexible visit.
