Daytime entertainment at the Disneyland Resort is our favorite way to break up the day. Below, we’ve outlined what you can expect from each of the daytime shows and parades at Disneyland Resort in 2026.

During a day full of fun at the Disneyland Resort, the best way to get a break without leaving the parks is to watch daytime entertainment. Whether it be a limited-time parade, musical performances or live shows there is something for everyone to enjoy. We want to make sure you have the most up-to-date information regarding viewing areas, showtimes and more. Below, we’ve detailed the most important information you’ll need for your next trip.

Daytime Entertainment at the Disneyland Resort

Daytime entertainment at Disneyland is a true highlight for a magical vacation. Disneyland is home to parades, Main Street Cavalcades and a number of other daytime shows. Disney California Adventure Park is home to Turtle Talk with Crush, Five and Dime—just to name a few.

Other daytime shows, parades and seasonal events can and do change somewhat often. There are many ways to experience each of the daytime entertainment options at Disneyland, which we’ll break down for you on a show-by-show basis below.

Daytime Shows at California Adventure Park

California Adventure really knows how to pack in a lot of entertainment. Here are our top picks:
  • The Amazing Spider-Man! Where your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man does tricks and stunts along the city rooftops. Afterwards, you can often meet Spider-Man on the street below.
  • Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Join the party to dance, sing and cheer along with Mickey, Minnie and their friends.
  • Operations: Playtime! Featuring the Green Army Patrol. See the Green Army Patrol from Toy Story live and in person as they make their way along Pixar Pier.
  • Paradise Garden Bandstand. Live bands, singers and performers stop by this relaxing dining space. Grab a snack, a drink or just a chair and enjoy.
  • Turtle Talk with Crush. Kids of all ages love this live chat with Crush, the turtle from Finding Nemo.
  • Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje. Courageous recruits can join along and become warrior allies of Wakanda.

For the full list of show times, check the Disneyland App under “entertainment.”

Daytime Shows at Disneyland Park

There are tons of offerings throughout the day but we’re listing some of our top picks here at Get Away Today:
  • The Dapper Dans barbershop quartet sings on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Disneyland Band marches to the beat and performs throughout the park.
  • Flag Retreat Ceremony each afternoon.
  • Storytelling at the Royal Theatre for live shows that recreate beloved fairytales with a silly twist.
For the full list of show times, check the Disneyland App under “entertainment.”

If you’re seeing a parade, be sure to check The Plaza Inn—sometimes they offer a parade dining package that comes with reserved viewing. When available, we highly recommend doing this for the best viewing experience.

If you aren’t interested in the dining package, we suggest heading over to “it’s a small world” about 30 minutes before the show starts. Because most people go to Main Street U.S.A. to view parades, we find that it can sometimes get a little crowded. For a more relaxed experience, we suggest watching it near “it’s a small world”.

Tips for daytime Entertainment at Disneyland

With daytime entertainment all over Disneyland Resort, our biggest recommendation is to purchase a Park Hopper ticket. Due to weather, special ticketed events or other conditions, you never know when a show might get canceled, sometimes at the last minute. We always recommend having a Disneyland Park Hopper ticket for this exact reason.

We also suggest getting a longer length of stay ticket. Not only will you want to be able to watch all of the daytime shows, but with so many new things to experience (Avengers Campus, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, limited-time celebrations), you won’t want to miss out on any of the fun.

We recommend at least having a 3-Day ticket, but our #1 pick is the 5-Day ticket. Plus, you can take advantage of our Extra Day Free offer and get five days for the price of four!
