Embassy Suites Anaheim South Review

There are a lot of all-suite and family friendly hotels near Disneyland. In fact, there are even three Embassy Suites in the Disneyland Resort area alone. But none are quite like the Embassy Suites Anaheim South. Embassy Suites Anaheim South Review - Rooms:

All of the guest rooms at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South are suites that include a bedroom and seperate living room area. The rooms themselves are not super large, but they are laid out really well and feel spacious. Most of the lounging space is in the living room area. Each living room area has a microwave and mini fridge, plus a wet bar. Having an additional sink is really nice when getting ready for the day or bedtime with small kids. The living room also has a pull-out sofa bed and flat screen TV.

The bedrooms will come with either one king or two double beds. Rooms with one king bed sleep up to four comfortably using the sofa bed. Rooms with the two double beds sleep up to six comfortably, which makes them incredibly popular for families. All of the bedrooms also have a flat screen TV. That makes it nice if Mom and Dad want to watch a movie and set up the kids with their shows in the living room.

The bathrooms have your standard shower/bath tub combo. They also have a large granite vanity inside the bathroom with enough room for everyone's primping supplies.

Embassy Suites Anaheim South Review - Amenities:

The Embassy Suites Anaheim South has a gorgeous atrium with waterfalls, koi ponds, turtles and bridges. Your kids will love exploring here. But the most unique feature found in the atrium is the animatronic lion that is perched in a rock overlooking the atrium. The lion roars each hour and is a sight to see. Your kids will think it's real! 

The Embassy Suites Anaheim South also has a great outdoor pool and hot tub. You'll also find a spacious sundeck with plenty of seating to enjoy. And, if you didn't get enough steps in at Disneyland (doubtful), there's a 24-hour fitness center on-site.

One HUGE perk of booking your stay at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South with Get Away Today is free parking. So many of the hotels in the area charge for parking, including the Embassy Suites Anaheim South. If you were to book your stay at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South with anyone other than Get Away Today, you'd be paying $17 per night to park! Embassy Suites Anaheim South Review - Dining:

The Embassy Suites Anaheim South puts on one of the best breakfast spreads in all of Anaheim. And bonus, it's free! There is a huge spread of hot and cold traditional items, plus some cook-to-order items as well. There's a fancy omelet station, and an entire gluten free menu including gluten free pancakes.

The Embassy Suites also hosts a manager's reception nightly. The manager's reception includes free soft drinks, beer, wine and even cocktails. Light snacks, which is typically a snack mix, are also included. If you're looking for something heavier, there are affordable menu items available for purchase as well. Many families like to come back to the hotel in the afternoon for a brief rest, relax at the manager's reception, grab a quick bite of pizza and then head back to Disneyland for the fireworks or other nighttime entertainment. 

And that's not all, there's also an in-house restaurant, Serengeti. Serengeti serves lunch and dinner with a wide range of items from pizza to burgers, salads and more. There's also a children's menu available with your kids' favorites. There's no reason to leave the hotel for meals, but if you want to, there are some great options right outside, which we'll get to in the next section of the review.

Embassy Suites Anaheim South Review - Location:

The Embassy Suites Anaheim South is the closest Embassy Suites to Disneyland. It's located about one mile from the park, making it easy to ride the ART shuttle, or even catch an Uber. 

The Embassy Suites is also across the street from a Target, which is almost as good as Disneyland. You're also a hop, skip and jump away from a number of restaurants. There's a Buca di Beppo in the parking lot of the hotel. And you're a short walk to Red Robin, Outback Steakhouse and Joe's Crab Shack. If you're looking for something really casual, you can find Del Taco, a Jack-in-the-Box and Pizza Hut across the street. As far as hotels near Disneyland, this one almost can't be beat!
