Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway officially opened to guests at the Disneyland Resort on January 27, 2023. This attraction is just one of the many additions to the reimagined Mickey’s Toontown.

Based on the award-winning Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is the first ride at Disneyland Park that stars Mickey Mouse and friends. We’re sharing everything you need to know about how you can ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disneyland.

Standby Line for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

The regular line, also known as standby, is now available for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disneyland. This means many people will choose to ride first thing in the morning or watch the Disneyland app for lower wait times throughout the day.

You can also choose to purchase faster access to the ride with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Do I have to use a Virtual Queue to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway?

Yes! You can do both! These two systems are not connected, making it possible for you to ride it once via Lightning Lane Multi Pass and multiple times via standby in one day.

The standby line is full of props, decor and interactive things to enjoy as you make your way through El CapiTOON theater. Even if you have to wait, you’re going to love your time in Mickey’s Toontown.
