Now, in addition to being able to experience Frozen in an all new way, there are three Frozen Pre Show Packages available for guests to really help them take their Disneyland vacation to the next level. Here is what you can expect:
Frozen Pre Show Packages:
Frozen Pre Show Package -
What it includes: Refreshments, photo opportunities, a Frozen themed celebration before the show and priority seating for Frozen - Live at the Hyperion. You'll gather in an Arendelle courtyard housed in Stage 17, right next to the Hyperion Theater. Refreshments include a Frozen shave ice treat and a beverage station that serves beer and wine to guests 21 years and older, and non-alcoholic beverages to all. Three separate areas feature photo opportunities that will make you look as though you've stepped into the world of Arendelle. You'll also get to see original artwork that was used in the making of Frozen - Live at the Hyperion. A magical snow ceremony will alert you that the show is about to begin and you'll be whisked away to your preferred seats... no need to get a Fastpass or wait outside the theater an hour beforehand.
Cost: $49 per person + tax (less than the cost of a Broadway show)
Frozen Pre Show Plus Lunch Package -
What it includes: This Frozen Pre Show Package includes everything that the base package includes, but it also includes the bonus of a gourmet lunch. You'll be treated to a memorable three-course lunch inside the glamorous Carthay Circle Restaurant, themed after the iconic theater where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs debuted in 1937. The adult lunch includes a soup and salad starter, your choice of four entrees, and Olaf's Summer Dream Vacation dessert. The child lunch includes a choice of soup or salad, and a selection of Mickey Check Meals with options like mini crispy tacos or a soba noodle bowl. The child lunch also include Olaf's Summer Dream Vacation dessert.
Once lunch is done, you'll make your way over to Stage 17, where the full Frozen Pre Show Package experience will begin. You'll get the same photo opportunities, shave ice and beverage station, snow ceremony and preferred seats.
Cost: $99 per adult and $79 per child ages 3-9 + tax and gratuity
Frozen Signature Dining & Behind-the-Scenes -
What it includes: The most deluxe of the Frozen Pre Show Packages includes the standard Frozen Pre Show Package reception at Stage 17, priority seating, and two incredibly special experiences.
First, immediately following the performance, you'll get a tour of the backstage where you'll get to see the costumes, props and sets from Frozen - Live at the Hyperion up close and personal. Also, unlike many normally off limit areas of Disneyland, you'll actually be able to take personal photos on the stage. This is the first time anything like this has been offered to the public at the Disneyland Resort, so it truly is something special.
Following your backstage tour, you'll be treated to a four-course prix fixe dinner at the fabulous Carthay Circle Restaurant. Expect the four course dinner to be a step up from the already amazing lunch menu. A dinner at Carthay Circle will make you feel like you've stepped back in time and I can't think of a more relaxing way to end such an incredible day at Disney California Adventure Park.
Cost: $299 per person + tax and gratuity
Each of these experiences require advance reservations and you have to have a ticket for park admission for the day you reserve your Frozen Pre Show Package. Like Character Dining, reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance and you normally will have a couple of showing time options. We always recommend booking as soon as possible for the best availability. The first two Frozen Pre Show Packages allow online reservations, but the Frozen Signature & Behind-the-Scenes Package can only be reserved over the phone by calling 714-781-DINE (3463) daily between 8am and 9pm. Each of the Frozen Pre Show Packages have different cancelation and payment policies, so be sure to check those when booking.
If you're looking for a way to make your Disneyland vacation extra special for a Frozen fan in your family, consider booking one of the Frozen Pre Show Packages. At the very least, make sure you grab a Fastpass first thing in the morning so you don't miss Frozen - Live at the Hyperion, the show that everyone who has seen it has gone crazy over.
If you haven't booked your Disneyland vacation yet, we'd love to help. Book your trip for travel before September 5 to experience the finale of the Diamond Celebration! Or, visit mid-September through October 31 to experience the not so scary, spooky fun of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. A third option is to book mid-November through early January to travel during Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, when the resort transforms into the Merriest Place on Earth. No matter when you travel, it's always a good time to visit Disneyland.
