New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park

Be transported to the Bayou in New Orleans Square. Here the past meets the present and French, Creole, Cajun and American traditions come together in a perfect blend. Below is an overview of what you'll find at New Orleans Square.

New Orleans Square Attractions

There are three attractions in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. These include The Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Here’s a breakdown of each in more depth below.

Disneyland Railroad (Any Height)

The New Orleans Square station is one of the four train stations for the Disneyland Railroad. While you can hop on and off at any station, this is where we suggest you hop off if you’re looking for the nearest station to walk to Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and other attractions.

Haunted Mansion (Any Height)

This is the only attraction with Lightning Lane in New Orleans Square.

Dearly depart into a foreboding estate, drag your body to the dead center of the Portrait Chamber and watch as the walls begin to stretch before your eyes. Then climb into your waiting Doom Buggy and embark on a shivering journey into an unearthly realm.

This attraction offers Lightning Lane which is something you definitely want to utilize especially when the Haunted Mansion transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday.

The transformation typically occurs for the kick off of Halloween Time. Here Christmas and Halloween collide as Jack Skellington and his crew take over. This popular overlay lasts through the entire Halloween Time celebration and continues through Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.

The attraction features a completely immersive Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas theme and a larger than life gingerbread house each year.

Pirates of the Caribbean (Any Height)

Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland is arguably one of the most popular theme park attractions in history. Your adventure begins in a shadowy bayou, where you’ll board a weathered barge and float through the dark, spectral world of Pirates Grotto. Dead men tell no tales—but they guard their treasure for all eternity!

New Orleans Square Dining

Blue Bayou (Reservations Recommended)

The Blue Bayou is the only restaurant located inside an attraction at Disneyland. Here you will find the ambiance and flavors of the South. Reservations are required on most days and can be made up to 60 days in advance.

You can often request a table on the water, although you may need to wait a little bit longer to be accommodated. The Blue Bayou is one of the restaurants that regularly offers dining packages for whatever the current nighttime entertainment is.

Harbour Galley (Quick Service)

Along the path to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you’ll find the quaint Harbour Galley. This quick service location sells a variety of seafood dishes, sourdough bread bowls with soup, and fresh baked cookies.

Tiana’s Palace (Quick Service)

Creole and Cajun fares are ready to be enjoyed! Stroll on over to Tiana’s Palace where each delectable dish is served the way good food should be—with love! And of course, beignets are hot and delicious.

Mint Julep Bar (Quick Service)

Looking for the famous Disneyland Mint Juleps and Mickey-shaped beignets, we love mobile ordering from Mint Julep Bar and taking a stroll around New Orleans Square.

Disneyland popcorn is the best there is, and there is popcorn waiting for you near the entrance to the New Orleans Disneyland Railroad Station. Be sure to get some before you get in line for Haunted Mansion, because you’ll certainly smell it while you’re waiting but soon find there’s no way out!
