There are 104 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express San Diego Hotel Circle. If you like staying somewhere that is big enough to offer the amenties you need, but not too big that you feel like a number, the Holiday Inn Express is a great choice. The majority of the rooms are standard guest rooms which come with two queen beds. There are a few studio suites as well.
The studio suites have two queen beds, but also feature a sofa bed in a connecting living room area. There is no door connecting the living room space to the sleeping area. These rooms sleep up to six guests and are ideal for families with up to four kids. If you're looking for more privacy or space and have a larger family, you'll be better off booking two standard rooms. We can always request rooms as close together as possible. Although all hotel requests are subject to availablity at the time of check-in, having requests noted on your reservation at the time of booking certainly gives you an advantage.
Whether you're staying in one of the standard rooms or a studio suite, all of the guest rooms have a modern, clean feel with crisp, white linens. I personally love when a hotel has white linens because I KNOW it is clean. Plus, the entire hotel is 100% non-smoking, which makes the rooms all feel so fresh. All rooms also come equipped with a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. It makes traveling so convenient when you have a family.

There are so many amenities available at the Holiday Inn Express San Diego Hotel Circle and many of them are included. It's a great value. The lobby itself is an attraction! The lobby has three large garage doors that can be opened to allow for an indoor/outdoor living space. There are giant TVs, a game zone with a Play Station and tons of seating so you can lounge. You have access to the fitness center, business center, and outdoor pool with a hot tub and cabanas. One other really fun feature is the outdoor lounge with a fireplace. It is the perfect place to unwind after a day of fun in San Diego.

One of the best perks of staying at the Holiday Inn Express San Diego Hotel Circle is that it is one of the few hotels in San Diego that offers a free breakfast. And their breakfast is amazing. Starting in August 2018 it's going to get even more amazing. You can expect to find some classic staples like fruits, cereal and milk, yogurt, eggs, etc. But, you can also expect to find some fun and delicious new additions like Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, egg white omelettes and pancakes, all cooked in a special oven exclusive to the Holiday Inn Express brand.

If you plan on exploring all around San Diego, the Holiday Inn Express San Diego Hotel Circle is a great place to make your home base. Not only are you conviently located off of the freeway, you are minutes from everywhere you'll want to be. You're a 10-15 minute drive to the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego, Old Town and the gorgeous beaches in the Mission Bay area. But, because you're right off the freeway, it's also really easy to head north to LEGOLAND.
Perhaps most imporant of all, is you are only a five minute drive to my family's favorite place to eat in San Diego, the Shake Shack. Staying on Hotel Circle definitely has its perks! You'll also find a number of restaurants, and you're right across the street from the famous Fashion Valley Mall. There you'll find Nordstrom's, Macy's, Bloomingdale's,The Cheesecake Factory and so much more. There's also an AMC Movie Theater, so you could easily drop off the family while you shop. The mall is a destination in and of itself.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very accommodating. Rooms feel fresh and are very clean. Beds are very comfortable. A great stay!
