Main Street, U.S.A. welcomes visitors from all over the world. This is the first land you’ll enter upon when coming through the main gates of Disneyland Park.

There's nothing quite like leaving the world behind and entering the original Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland, just like Walt did all those years ago.

Here, you're welcomed by a charming town of America's 1900s. If you're looking closely, you'll even spot Walt's personal apartment above the firehouse where a lamp is continuously lit as a reminder of his presence in the Park.

There are six attractions on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park. These include The Disney Gallery, Disneyland Railroad, The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Main Street Cinema, Main Street Vehicles and Walt Disney—A Magical Life.

The Disney Gallery (Any Height)

Explore Disney-inspired art by contemporary artists at your own pace. You’ll also see historic and rare theme park concept renderings, models and memorabilia on display.

Disneyland Railroad (Any Height)

The Main Street Station is one of the four train stations for the Disneyland Railroad and is the official start of the route. While you can hop on and off at any station, this is where we suggest you join for the “grand circle tour” around Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom.

The Disneyland® Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln (Any Height)

See the show featuring Mr. Lincoln (animatronic) as he returns to tell the tale of generations past and share his stirring vision of the future.

The show starts with a moving film about President Lincoln’s life, from the humble log cabin of his birth all the way to the White House. Then watch as he takes center stage to deliver highlights from his greatest speeches.

Main Street Cinema (Any Height)

Continuous loops of classic Disney shorts play in this Main Street theater so you can stop by anytime, wander in and out at your leisure. Cartoons often include Steamboat Willie, Plane Crazy, The Moose Hunt, Traffic Troubles, The Dognapper and Mickey’s Polo Team (1928-1936).

Main Street Vehicles (Any Height)

Climb aboard a vintage vehicle and be transported from one end of Main Street, U.S.A. to the other. Choose from a Horse-Drawn Street Car, a Jitney automobile, an antique replica Fire, an Omnibus—or ride again and again and experience them all!

Walt Disney—A Magical Life (Any Height)

A cinematic presentation of Walt Disney’s journey, culminating in a visit with Walt Disney in his office. All brought to life through Audio-Animatronic storytelling.

Character Meet and Greets

There are lots of characters to meet on Main Street in the area around Town Square. Most often you’ll find Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip and Dale and Pluto on rotation throughout the day.

Parades and firework shows change somewhat regularly. You'll want to keep up-to-date with what parades and firework shows will be available during your visit by checking the official Disneyland calendar.

Entertainment and Parade options at Main Street, U.S.A. may include:

It's important to check the official Disneyland app to make the most of your time on Main Street. Keep in mind that during non-peak travel times fireworks and some parades may only be held on the weekends.

On the flip side, if you're visiting during a busier time, there may be multiple showings of the most popular parades. There will also likely be fireworks nightly.

Emporium, The Mad Hatter, Disneyana, Disney Gallery and More

Main Street is the hub of all shopping in Disneyland Park, and it’s the one place you’re most likely to find exactly what you’re looking for.

These shops are often open after closing as well, making last minute shopping a breeze with mobile checkout as you leave for the night.

Breakfast in the Park with Minnie & Friends at Plaza Inn (Reservations Recommended)

Breakfast with Minnie & Friends is located inside Disneyland and you'll need a valid theme park admission to get in, even with a dining reservation. This buffet style meal is located at Plaza Inn which takes reservations for breakfast only. You’ll meet Minnie Mouse and a number of other Disney friends during your meal.

Carnation Café (Reservations Recommended)

Relax under a candy-striped umbrella and watch the world pass by—or unwind inside the Victorian-style dining room as waiters in vintage dress bustle past. The Carnation Café takes you on a trip to the turn-of-the-century with a nostalgic menu of delicious delights for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We particularly love the fried pickles as an appetizer to start off our meal.

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor (Quick Service)

Stop by this old-fashioned ice cream parlor for sweet nostalgic sundaes, freshly baked waffle cups and cookies. Try a classic with floats or choose a hand-scooped cup or cone to enjoy as you walk down Main Street.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Café (Quick Service)

The ever-popular Mary Poppins-themed eatery serves a variety of fresh pastries, sandwiches, breakfast favorites, sweet treats and more. The most popular being the raspberry macaron. We also love the Toasted Cheese sandwich alongside tomato basil soup.

The Little Red Wagon (Quick Service)

Hand-dipped corn dogs anyone? The Disneyland classic is served fresh and hot right here on Main Street.

Market House (Quick Service)

This coffee house is a popular stop at all hours of the day and serves Starbucks coffees and pastries.

Plaza Inn (Quick Service)

Dine on home-style favorites like fried chicken or pot roast in a lavish Victorian setting, one of the original landmarks of Disneyland Park. Drenched in dazzling décor, it’s no surprise that the Plaza Inn, which opened in 1955, was one of Walt Disney’s favorite places to dine.

Refreshment Corner (Quick Service)

Need a quick bite like a hot dog or a refreshing drink? Refreshment Corner, affectionately known as “Coke Corner” is the spot!

Popcorn

Disneyland popcorn is the best there is, and there is popcorn waiting for you on Main Street! Follow your nose for this buttery, salty snack or look for it near Town Square and the hub near the Castle.

Churros near Sleeping Beauty Castle

You can find your churro cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle which often opens around 10:30 am.
