Each year SeaWorld San Diego transforms into a spooky celebration with their Halloween Spooktacular! Darling decor and costumed characters make SeaWorld a fun-filled Halloween party where costumes are welcome. This year the festivities will begin September 27and continue weekends through October 27, 2013. The seasonal events include:
- Kids can find delicious delights at 10 different trick-or-treating stations from 11am - 6pm.
- Count Von Count, Elmo and your children's favorite Sesame Street characters thrill audiences at the Sesame Street Bay of Play in the live show Sesame Street's Countdown to Halloween.
- The famed and funny sea lion show revamps itself into Clyde & Seamore's Spooky Adventure.
- Areas of the park have had whimsical makeovers. Stroll through Otto's Candy Garden, the Mermaid's Grotto and Penelope's Pumpkin Patch.

In addition to the Halloween Spooktacular activities, families will enjoy everything that makes SeaWorld great. Manta, Journey to Atlantis, Shipwreck Rapids and other exciting attractions are a fantastic way to spend the day. You'll of course want to watch One Ocean (the Shamu show), Blue Horizons (the dolphin show) and Pets Rule! (one of my personal favorites). Numerous exhibits like the Turtle Reef, Shark Encounter and Dolphin Point offer park visitors a way to see some of the world's most awesome creatures in a whole new way.
One of the best things about SeaWorld San Diego's Halloween Spectacular is that during the entire month of October, kids get in FREE! October is Kids Free Month in San Diego, so one child (ages 3-9) gets a free one day SeaWorld ticket with each paid adult admission. Or, if you'd like to stay and play a little longer, you can take advantage of our 7 Days for the Price of 1 SeaWorld Tickets for both adults and children. Both offers are such great deals, you'll have to decide which will be best for your family's vacation. If you have a hard time deciding, you can call our Reservation Specialists at 855-GET-AWAY and they'd love to help you plan the perfect San Diego vacation.
