The lagoon-style pool offers a fantastic area to lounge and play, allowing guests to take in the palm trees and Florida sunshine. Other amenities at Loews Royal Pacific Hotel include a game room, fitness center, onsite dining and theme park shuttle service.

A stay at Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Hotel also allows guests complimentary access and priority seating at select live venues and restaurants at Universal’s CityWalk and Resort. And, finally, you can request special character wake-up calls to your room, which is a fun way to start your day of adventure at Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Hotel Review - Dining

Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Hotel offers dining opportunities with the Minions on Saturdays. Despicable Me Character Breakfast is a hot, buffet-style breakfast is hosted in the Pacifica Ballroom, and hotel reservations or theme park admission are not required. However, this does mean seating comes on a first-come, first-served basis. This shouldn’t interfere with your chance to see the Minions though! It just means guests may share seating areas with one another. You can book the Despicable Me Character Breakfast in advance, with kids 3 - 9 starting at $20.99, and adults 10+ at $34.99.

Also onsite at Loews Royal Pacific are a number of additional dining options, including Wantilan Luau, Islands Dining Room, Jake’s American Bar and Bula Bar & Grille.

  • Wantilan Luau: This weekly Luau is hosted on Saturday evenings and is a separately-ticketed event at Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Hotel. Experience Polynesian culture first hand in the form of live entertainment and food. Wantilan Luau is an all-you-can-eat buffet, offering a variety of seating options depending on your budget and preference.
  • Islands Dining Room: Get a taste of the islands in the Dining Room. Enjoy family-friendly food, with options to try more authentic South Seas fare. Islands Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner, as well as snacks and beverages.
  • Jake’s American Bar: Stop by the full-service bar at Loews Royal Pacific Resort and grab a themed cocktail, burger or pretzel. Serving lunch and dinner, you can also catch live shows while you enjoy an ale or lager.
  • Bula Bar & Grille: For poolside bites and beverages, place your order at Bula Bar & Grille. Menu items include snacks and drinks, fish tacos, turkey wraps, salads and more.

Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Hotel Review - Location

Did you know that a system of waterways connect Universal Orlando Resort hotels with the three theme parks? This means it’s easy to navigate your way to the parks, especially via the complimentary water shuttles for Universal Resort guests. There are also walking paths and roads providing convenient access to the parks from Universal Resort hotels. Loews Royal Pacific Hotel is about half a mile, on foot, from Universal’s CityWalk and just under two miles by car or shuttle. Be sure to check with the front desk regarding the complimentary shuttle services so you can enjoy more family time at the parks!
