Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Review - Amenities

As with all Disney World Resorts, there is top-notch Disney service at every turn. In-room amenities at BoardWalk Inn include the following:

  • In-room celebrations - Let Disney help you celebrate special occasions such as a birthday or anniversary.
  • Complimentary wi-fi

  • Pools - BoardWalk Inn is home to the playful Luna Park Pool as well as two separate lounge pools. Luna Park Pool includes a 200-foot water slide that is reminiscent of old-school wooden roller coasters on beach side boardwalks. Elephant statues serve as fountains and you’ll feel transported to the 1920s fair as you swim and soak up the sun at Luna Park Pool. There’s also a hot tub and poolside eatery, Leaping Horse Libations, nearby. One leisure pool is located south of Luna Park by Community Hall, while the other is across the Resort to the east.

  • BoardWalk Campfires - S’mores around the campfire evolve into a movie night under the stars at BoardWalk Inn. Check with the front desk regarding dates and times.
  • Surrey Bike Rentals - What better way is there to explore the boardwalk than on a bike? You can rent surrey bikes that seat up to four, or go a more traditional route with a regular bicycle. It’s a fun way to cover more ground in less time while on vacation.
  • Fishing - A vacation to Florida wouldn’t be complete without some time spent on the water. Experience guided fishing excursions at BoardWalk Inn and spend up to four hours bass fishing.
  • Arcade - BoardWalk Inn has Side Show Games for all ages, operated by purchasing game points. The Game Cards are rechargeable and can be used at arcades located at other Disney World Resorts.
  • Spa & Fitness Center - If you’d like to include some workouts in your Disney vacation, you can visit the complimentary fitness center onsite. Additionally, there are jogging trails, tennis courts and even yoga on the lawn. After all that, consider an appointment at the spa to relax and unwind. For little guests at BoardWalk Inn, visit the onsite playground for swinging, climbing and sliding fun.
  • Merchandise Delivery & Pickup - Disney knows it’s much more fun to enjoy the Parks when you can send your souvenirs back to the Resort. With their complimentary merchandise delivery and pickup services, you can make purchases and know they’re waiting for you at the designated pickup spot at BoardWalk Inn.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Review - Location

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort is located on the south shore of Crescent Lake. It sits across the Lake from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and is within walking distance to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

For transportation from Orlando International Airport, catch Disney’s Magical Express. This bus requires advance reservations, but it is complimentary for guests staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Once you’re at your Resort, you can take advantage of complimentary transportation such as Disney Skyliner or Disney buses. When you walk over to Epcot from BoardWalk Inn, you’ll find a Skyliner stop. From there you can “soar” over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (by way of a couple other Disney World Resort Hotels). Disney buses offer complimentary transportation from the Resort to the Parks, as well as Disney Springs. When you book with Get Away Today, ask a travel expert about the most direct route you can take from BoardWalk Inn to the Parks.

Lyft Minnie Vans are another transportation option, but they come with an additional cost. You can learn more about Walt Disney World transportation in this blog article HERE.
