UPDATED: NOVEMBER 2022. Here at Get Away Today we love exploring all Walt Disney World has to offer. From four headlining theme parks, two incredible water parks, an entertainment district and more than 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels, we have done it all!

Today, we’re taking a closer look at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and after this review we hope you’ll want to take a closer look as well.

Walt Disney World groups their on property hotels into four categories:

  • Deluxe Villa
  • Deluxe Resort
  • Moderate Resort
  • Value Resort

This is one of Walt Disney World’s Deluxe/Deluxe Villa properties, which means you can expect unique theming and experiences unlike anything else. While deluxe Resort hotels do have a higher price tag, they usually come with amenities that warrant the higher number.

Other Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World include:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (close to Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
  • Disney’s Beach Club Resort (close to Magic Kingdom)
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Villas (close to EPCOT)
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort (close to Magic Kingdom)
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (close to Magic Kingdom)
  • Disney’s Wilderness Resort (close to Magic Kingdom)
  • Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (close to EPCOT)
